Welcome to Call For Fire, the mobile training simulation that teaches you how to Call For Fire and coordinate indirect artillery and mortar fire.
This game will put you in an Observation Post and arm you with a radio enabling you to rain down hell on enemy armoured vehicles and personnel.
This is not your typical shoot em up arcade game. Call For Fire is a training simulation built by soldiers for soldiers. It closely simulates what it is really like to call in indirect fires onto a target.
The Call For Fire is based on the US JFIRE doctrine and will teach you how to coordinate artillery fire in a coalition environment. The game will enable you to learn the art of coordinating indirect fires utilizing both Grid and Polar missions.
By playing this game you will learn:
* Correct RATEL procedures for all stages of the Call For Fire
* How to adjust fires onto Line OT (Observer Target)
* How to correctly bracket a target
* How to send in a BDA (Battle Damage Assessment)
THIS GAME IS FOR YOU IF:
1. You are a coalition soldier and are interested in perfecting your skills at calling for fire.
2. You are a military instructor or commander looking for a tool to teach your soldiers how to Call For Fire.
3. You are a soldier in training and want to get a competitive edge on your call for fire skills.
4. You are just interested in learning how soldiers call for fire on the battlefield.

Awesome training Aid
Great App guys. Used it to reinforce teaching the AACFF with Officer trainees. They loved it and we incorporated this app into PLCOMD formative assessments for OPs onto TAIs, PL Delib Attacks, Area defences and standing patrols. Would love to see another update with a full spectrum of Arty/MOR effects, Veh supporting fires and SFMG onto objectives as this will broaden this app as a training aid. If you can mould this weekend into an SBF/MFC perspective supporting a mech inf assault that would be amazing. More missions please, my PL has finished them all.
THANK YOU SOCH MUCH!
I’m so excited that this game exists! Lately I’ve been researching all about how to call for fire and artillery, and this game has helped me so much, with all the RATEL processes involved in it, and overall just the experience! I ain’t no FO but I love to research this type of stuff, thank you so much!
Volume
What’s great App to teach and apply Call for Fire Theory!
However I couldn’t get the volume to work regardless of if I toggle volume on or off, so I couldn’t hear the RATEL.
Awesome game.
I got this game because I was interested when I read the description and I wasn’t disappointed. The only thing that I was disappointed about was the amount of missions there needs to be more mission to make this game feel better and there needs to be more ways to choose different maps to spot on. I would like to see the game to have different fire teams you could pick and use different types of artillery like howitzers and motors and rocket battery’s and choose what rounds you put down range like smart rounds, fragmentation, napalm and whit phosphorus. It would be cool to see different effects from different rounds and artillery pieces and it would be cool to see a sandbox where you could practice and use the and spot for the different artillery pieces. But others than those suggestions the games hands down is great love it. Thanks
Thank You
I’m not an FO, I’m a gun bunny, but I thoroughly enjoy this app.
I broke my back in October last year and I’ve been away from my battery ever since. During my recovery I’ve been faced with boredom stress staring at the same four walls of my bedroom and because of that I’m just generally missing the job. The mental health component that’s played into my recovery has really got me down, don’t worry I’m getting help to get through it.
But nothing, I mean nothing, helped me more today than firing up this app. Hearing the RATEL, the fire discipline... Being able to call for fire! It all has scratched the itch of not being able to work as a gunny. Because of this app I got to be a gunner again and I love it.
To the devs, making this available on the iOS platform has made my day and I cannot thank you enough.
Sincerely,
A broken digger.
Awesome and Accurate
This Call for Fire Sim is awesome to play and accurate to help reinforce Call for Fire skills. Very well done and a great price. Get around it!
Sound
Cannot get the sound to work anymore, tried deleting and reinstalling still wont work please help. Love the game.
It’s okay
It’s impossible to get first round effects in this sim. On grid missions it says I put the exact grid of the enemy location yet the first round is way off, makes it impossible to beat mission 10.
Question for developers
Hey guys I’m trying to use this with a paper map to work on paper grid work. What is the location of the OP so I can get the correct map?
Fun simulator
Awesome amazing. Left me wanting more Fire missions. Please can you create more.
