Recently they have changed how garmin import calories into the app. It is no long accurate. My watch will say I’ve burnt 150cals, but cronometer will say something like 500, and in smaller text it will say 150 active, 350 resting (even though I haven’t logged an active, I’ve just walked to the train station). Where are these resting coming from? Cronometer already has BMR? Calories burnt should be BMR + TEF + imported calories from my watch, I have no idea why it recently is doubling up on resting calories
Made the switch from My Fitness Pal and very glad I did. Much easier to see your data with more features.
I have used the app for a maximum of 218 days in succession and lost 25 lbs. It is a very user-friendly program, allows personalised planning flexibility, healthy eating and weight reduction/control. I use and find helpful the scanning of products, creating our own recipes, recording exercise and showing our progress. In addition, my husband used the program to gain 25 lbs. after losing weight following surgery. He was able to regain a healthy weight by setting his goal of gaining 1/2 lb. per week and eating the amount of calories calculated to achieve his goal. Therefore, the program works well whether one wants to lose weight, maintain a healthy weight or even needs to gain weight. Thanks, Linda Hughes
Easy to use app for anyone interested in their nutrition. It’s helped me understand how many grams of protein I’m consuming every day and track my calorie intake and usage. Very insightful.
Why is it not showing calcium?
Very good and precise
Gives me a detailed report of macro and micro nutrients consumed in a day. It gives me just enough information without me getting obsessed. And it’s free although I’ve just upgraded to Gold as I am now obsessed!
Great app. So easy to use. I’m on a bone building programme for Osteoporosis so I like to check I’m getting all the nutrients I need. I’m also a pure plant eater and need 2,400 calories a day to maintain my weight so this is perfect for making sure I eat enough. I plan my first three meals, check the macros and then plan my last meal to take in what else I need for the day.
I love this app. Design and functionality is flawless. Much prefer it to the better-known alternative, which I used for several years.
