Camera for OBS Studio

The best free camera app for obs or any software really. I don’t know if this is the place to ask on but, I would like a battery icon and % on the webui so we know how much the phone got left, if it needs a charge. I use the phone wirelessly as webcam, please add that.😎 Sincerely

I needed to stream iPhone video over NDI for a professional broadcast setup and first bought the official Newtek NDI camera app (NDI HX Camera) which is even more expensive than this one. It is SHOCKINGLY bad to the point I don't even understand how they dare put their name on it. No manual focus, no independent focus and exposure locks, no white balance adjustment AT ALL (😳), no zebra highlighting or focus peaking, no histogram, still no support for iPhone 11/12 ultra wide camera, to name just a few of the problems. My only regret is that I refunded it so I can't give it the review it deserves. This app does it all correctly, and is functional as a professional tool with just about every functionality you'd expect such a tool to have.

Truly an amazing app that adds a whole new level of quality to my live streams! Awesome. I had some trouble setting it up first (my iPhone wasn’t recognised by my computer) and I was truly amazed with the quick, friendly and professional support! It now works like a charm. If you use OBS, and have a smart phone, this app is a must-have. Just get it. 😎👍

App works great! I initially had some trouble with setting it up so sent in an email. With an instant reply and an easy fix it works a charm!!

Just amazing! I’m using an iPhone Xs and an iMac with Catalina 10.15. Everything just works perfect. No lag or delay what so ever, even with high resolutions. Use it with USB for best result. I can strongly recommend this app!

This is 100% reproducible, I’ve reinstalled drivers and checked different cables. iPhone SE with iOS13.1.2, laptop has macOS Mojave with latest OBS studio version. Video through USB connection using OBS Camera app quickly goes out of sync. When using the setting Reconnect to Device the video instantly starts to go out off sync again. Recommendation: get JustWifiCam and use regular screen capture without OBS Camera drivers. In that app the on screen controls can be turned off.

If you are wanting to get started on your content creation before you spend big dollars on a camera, this is a great option. I have to say that the watermark is a bit over the top. If the watermark was changed to something that could actually let you use the app, I’d give 5 stars. Limited features is understandable.. a watermark that makes it unusable is not
