I wasn’t a fan. Tried to take a test run and it kept asking me multiple times to try their premium version for a trial run. I did it multiple times and still didn’t work

Premium Translation Subscriptions:
• Subscribed user has unlimited access to the app translate services including speech to text recognizing, translating and text to speech.
• Unsubscribed user can only use those services with limited quota per day.
• User can subscribe one week (USD 4.99$) or one month (USD 9.99$) auto renewing subscription.
• Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Free version will not work

Literally unusable, only translates into Spanish?
I took a picture of the text I wanted to translate (it was in Italian) and for whatever reason it translated it to Spanish. The issue is that when I changed the setting to translate it to English, it wouldn’t do it. It would only show the Spanish translation even when set to English. So I tried going back and retaking the picture to try again, but it just gave me a pop up asking if I wanted to upgrade to premium, then made me watch a 30 second ad when I said no. When the ad finished, it hadn’t even taken the picture. I tried again and the same thing happened. Pop up, ad, still no picture. So far as I can tell, you get exactly ONE translation before they make you upgrade. Who knows, maybe if you’re really lucky, it will even translate your one free scan to the language you actually set it to instead of some random other language. Also, it made me watch 5 different ads in the incredibly short time I used it. I understand free apps need a way to make money, but this is excessive, especially since the app doesn’t seem to actually *have* a free version despite pretending they do.

Works but is confusing to use
Wish this was a live translation. But you have to take a picture and then see the translation. I am using it to translate screens so it is difficult to see what options I should choose since the text does not line up with the location on the screen.
Does not work
Does not work or let you change languages, every time you press anywhere on the screen an add pops up
