I the bottom of the app is not visible or able to be pressed for options. Really annoying

The app has very limited features, can’t hold a wifi or Bluetooth connection to the smoker (unsure if it’s an app issue or smoker issue). App consistently freezes and quits. One of the worst app experiences I’ve had.

I have loved the grill. Just have problems getting my phone to connect to the grill sometimes. About 2/3 of the time I have to restart it to get it connected. Not sure what the problem is, but once connected it works pretty well. Update: The app has become unusable, but the grill is great.

This app seriously needs updating, almost unusable.

Overall it’s a pretty decent app. It’s pretty easy to change the cook temp or smoke level. It’s also simple to setup a target temp and the push notifications work fine. It would be nice that if you only have 1 smoker that it would default to connecting to it on startup. The biggest issue is that it doesn’t support the iPhone 16 Pro Max correctly. The buttons on the bottom aren’t able to be pressed.

Updated App: Fix the interface! Do you all not use the app? Can you not see that Set Temp and Set Smoke are now blocked by the probes? Seriously consider actually testing and/or using your own smokers and app. It connects to the Woodwind Pro 36 and then nothing. The app shows the temp of the grill when it connects but doesn’t update the temp. Bad update?

Doesn’t do a good job of maintaining connection with the grill. Constantly freezes/fails to update temperatures, drops heartbeat despite being connected via Bluetooth and WiFi. When the app works it’s great, but in the last 12-24 months it has become increasingly unreliable.

History stopped working back in 2023. App constantly drops connection to grill. I used to be able to assign a name and target temp for the probes but that no longer works. Fairly disappointing in general as far as app features actually working.

Since day one the WiFi feature hasn’t worked properly. It worked at the beginning. No good luck. This was the only reason purchasing this model.
