Our mission is to make our public lands more accessible to those who cannot plan camping trips 6 months in advance. Simply put, if a campsite suddenly becomes available – someone cancels their reservation – the app will send you a notification to let you know. Tens of thousands of people have booked trips to Yosemite, Zion, Joshua Tree, Yellowstone, & other popular places through Campflare. Everything is free, and it will stay that way to ensure equal access to our public lands.

Love the website, can’t make app work
I am a huge fan of the website and wanted to add it on my phone, but unfortunately I can’t get it to send me a text! I’ve closed and opened the app, and even deleted and reinstalled it, and triple checked to make sure my phone number was correct, but it won’t send me a text so I can’t get past the initial app set up. I’m sure it’s just a bug but I’d love to see it fixed! Update: tried again many months later and still can’t get in :( sad but I still love the website!

Cost for app.
Why doesn’t the app developer/manager state the cost of down loading the app, or is it free? I don’t like surprises on my credit card bill therefor I will not download .
Phone number
For some reason, the app will not let me in without giving my phone number… I guess I will stop using this app.
Don’t hate the player hate the game
The way I see it the national park campground reservation system is broken beyond belief and with NPS getting busier and busier every year it feels almost impossible to get anything without planning a full 6 months to year in advance. I’ve paid for campground monitoring services before and paid the 30 bucks they work good but CAMPFLARE oh boy. This app literally saved my glacier vacation because I planned 1 month too late. This is fastest alerting, smoothest, and easiest app to navigate and set your plans for. AND ITS FREE. We should have to pay to win to go camping in NPS. Don’t hate the player hate the broken game. 5/5 will you use for all of my of next NPS trips.
Amazing app
I’ve been using this app for 2 years now. As someone who doesn’t really like planning in advance and is super spontaneous I was able to get really good campsites for holiday weekends (4th of July at pinecrest lake last year and this year at glacier np, memorial weekend at fallen leaf in Tahoe and so much more). If you are able to be spontaneous about where u will end up on your trip then this app is def for you.
