The app crash when i finish scanning an area

It’s quite something. Really useful tool.

Very good app. Easy to use. Efficient and accurate. 3D scans are very good and easy to use.

Not sure how is it that this app gets such high reviews when it constantly crashes within 10 mins of testing the demo. Perhaps it is the fact that I am using an iPhone 7?!? Yet other apps with similar features don’t crash so go figure…🤷‍♂️

Using my brand new iPad Pro 11”, I was able to scan my apartment. There were issues so I stopped trying to get the whole apartment and focused on one room. I also noticed I couldn’t even diligently scan that room or there’d be weird superimposed glitches/other scanning weirdness. Deciding to use the KISS approach (keep it simple stupid), I did a bare minimum scan of just the one room. It seemed to work well enough… Until I started measuring. The auto measure for the room wasn’t great but being able to edit the shape after the fact was great. It’s tech not magic, right? But, when trying to select one point, the app would frustratingly either create a new measuring point or select some other point that’s nowhere near where I pressed the screen. Imagine creating a box where you go to edit the last corner a bit and it’s the corner on the opposite diagonal that gets selected screwing up half the box. Now have that happen countless time. Finally, once I fought the app long enough to force it to cooperate, it started to crash instead. It would make a random move of another point, I’d go to fix it and crash! Okay, close the app fully, open again, edit the same point: crash! Alright. Close the app fully, shut off the table entirely, wait a bit, turn it on, open app, edit point: CRASH!!! It reached a point where I had to say screw it. I took a screen shot before it could crash and used some of the existing measurements to draw up some lines and finish planning out my apartment using Notability. Now that I think about it, I was going to rate this app as 2 stars, but in reality, because it basically bricked itself on me, I’m gonna have to go for 1…

35 US per year to use. You are forced to subscribe before you can use the app. Not saying this is scam but did not want to be scammed by subscription, I uninstalled it. You just never know.
