Nice app, attractive UI, but way way too slow operating very basic tasks, way too slow For this price paid for Pro version it should be as fast as outlook -

This mail app could be my default mail app because of all the amazing features it has but it will not… because of the appearance. I don’t like black theme. Yes, my phone has black theme, but for mail app I prefer another colors… grey and even white. I was trying “light” theme but it almost the same as default black theme because most of the screens are still black. Good app but for now I will not buy it :( hope you will add more themes in next updates

Sometimes files that have been sent are empty. It's unacceptable for the paid solution.

Nice app and UI but developers need to provide an update that enables both light and dark appearance for whole app not just matching system - in order to keep up with other apps in this segment

The most beautiful email app, but... They focused on the look to hook rather than on the stability. I have the app on both iPhone and Mac (latest OS) and on both it is running in a clunky way; scrolling, opening, deleting etc. all runs slowly. I have an email that is 50 thread long, on Mac it was showing that the email is 10 threads long and on iOS similarity. Opening the email on the Mac fixed the thread count however on iOS the app kept crashing. I have sent couple of emails to support; they answered the first but never answered the second nor the follow up. It doesn’t matter what the next web considers you, what matters is what the user considers you. The app is full of bugs!

You need to keep app open so app will fetch all the emails. You can’t just open the app and quickly check new emails. Just noticed I lost many emails because of this issue. Very disappointed.

They clearly advertise that they’re HIPAA compliant for all. But that’s actually 100% false. They you wonder what else is not true? Email involves a lot of trust and it’s really hard to trust Canary with your data.

I have been using spark emails app for over 6 years and love it. As most of us, i am always looking for the next best email app and came across Canary. I have used if for a week and LOVE it. All works as intended except for the badge email count (yes notifications are no and so are badges) If they could add the share email function with people in your team like Spark has, I would move over to Canary completely. Currently i am using both apps. One thing that has me worried that today i received a survey from canary asking if i were sad if i suddenly couldn‘t use Canary anymore. This makes me believe that they are having financial issues and might be going out of business? I hope I am wrong.

I bought the paid version of this app a few months ago. After a few days, I noticed emails weren’t coming through. Some digging on Reddit showed a lot of users with the same issue, and we realized it was disconnecting from our Google accounts. I went back to Spark instead and deleted this app. I decided tonight to give it another try. Downloaded it, logged into my 6 gmail accounts, and all seemed ok. Now, only 5 hours later, I see it shows 3 emails on the apps icon…except there’s nothing when I open the app. After a few seconds of refreshing, low and behold I get the same “Gmail disconnected…fix” message I was getting before. Complete waste of money and Apple denied the refund months ago.
