Canasta Jogatina: Card Games

I play daily and love it but… with the update there are problematic issues. -Red threes are counting AGAINST a losing player even though they’ve melded. -Players now seem allowed to pick up the frozen discard pile and use those cards to meld. You should only use the cards in your hand to meld. -Also I’ve never got 200 for going out on a concealed hand but my computer opponent always does.

I have played this daily for the last few years but the new version is ugly and not what I enjoyed in the old version. Will not play again and will delete this once this review is loaded. Seems one must rate at least one star to be able to save comments, that says it all.. Good bye. Frustrated player.

I have not played canasata since I was a kid and I'm winning against hard bot by a good margin. Other than that I like it - UI and ruleset is what I expected!

The computer players do not know how to play the game properly

I have LOVED this game for a few years now. But, ads between each hand? I could tolerate ads between each game, but between each hand is ridiculous! I will be looking for another version.

How do I stop it from buzzing each time it’s my turn

It would be nice to play the game. 1. Always go first. 2. Partner always has a ton of points even when a canasta could have been played. Holds most of the cards without playing, and Hardly ever picks up discarded cards when there is a possibility. 3. The opponents are most often the ones able to pick up discarded cards. 4. Hardly ever allowed to play. Who wants to watch the computer play!

The biggest issue for me is that when one side goes out there is no hand review. I like to see the hands that are left and peruse all the cards on the table. I know there’s a point review but it’s not the same. Even set at hard level, the opposing bots are not always a good challenge. I like this game better than others though and think I’ll stick around.
