Canasta juega

I’ve deleted two other canasta apps. This game plays like a real canasta game.

Played an online game. No wilds and every draw for 2 hands I drew whatever wasn’t in my hand. Game is rigged. I’m sure the makers will post a response to this thats its not but they are liars.

I really enjoy playing canasta, am so glad I found it as a app its so much fun!

I’ve been playing against the computer and have noticed a few issues. One is that it sets down two cards with two wilds and it’s allowed. My understanding is that there must always be MORE of the other card in the meld than there are wild cards. Also, when I’ve picked up the pile, on more than one occasion I only received one card when there should have been more cards there. The first few times I played, the computer was setting down way too many canastas too soon - they couldn’t have had that many cards yet. I haven’t noticed that so much the last several times I’ve played. Update: The computer repeatedly picks up the pile and then does not play the top card. It also picks it up when it doesn’t have the required two in its hand to play. For instance, my last two discards are 7s. It picks up the pile and sets down 5 sevens. Then I discard another 7. It picks that one up too, but since its Canasta is still not complete, clearly it did not have 2 more in its hand to justify picking it up. It mimics anything you do that succeeds, like if you go out immediately after getting your first Canasta, it proceeds to do the same on all subsequent hands, making it just a race to one canasta the rest of the time you play continuously. That’s irritating, but the cheating just takes all the fun out of the game. Phooey.

My family loves this opportunity to play one of our favorite games with each other even though we live in different states. There are a few things that are different, but we deal with it. We make a shared phone call so we can all talk together while playing. It was especially special during those first many lonely months of Covid, so thank you. We like playing you have to have 2 canastas to go out, one of which must be red. We also play you can take the pack at the end even if you have no draw pile left for your turn.

This game gives you the option of 2 to 4 player, 1 to 2 canasta’s to go out, locking the deck, every possible option you want, other apps are either you have to play for people or only one canasta to go out or no discard to go out.This has so many options it’s truly the best app for learning canasta

Worst customer support. One player can submit a claim and you’re done. So don’t chat if you wish to download anyways.
