I tried the app for the first time last week. It froze on me. At was at destination and the app was still showing that the driver was 2 min away from picking me up. And the app charged me twice! No happy. I will never use it again

Charge was quite abit more than the estimated 17-19$ fair cost 30$.

Love Capital Taxi for anywhere you need to go in Ottawa! I always use this app to book as its so easy!

In my last ride capital taxi gave 15% tips on behalf of me. This is not how tip works. It’s stealing my money without any authority.

I like the app, but evenings, I always get an error message and have to book another way. When the app does work, it’s nice. We know when a driver has been assigned to our ride. We see the car coming on the map view and you get a text when the car has arrived. I like seeing the trip history and receipts all in one place. I find pricing to be always a couple dollars lower than reality. Just wish app was more reliable in the evening. This time I texted and also spoke to dispatch. Was told driver was arriving in 5 minutes and it’s been 10. Wishing for that map view right now.

Used the app this past Saturday to go to a friends with the kids. The newest version is great! Ordered and car was there in minutes. The timing was accurate, the GPS tracking for the driver was accurate and the payment was so easy when we got to the destination. I didn’t even have to tip my drover separately, it was all added in for me based on my preferences! I instantaneously got an email with my receipt and confirmation at my destination when the driver clicked his tablet. Really enjoyed the ease and stress free ride with my kids. Will be using again for sure. Great work Capital!!!
