Car Camera DVR is a freemium Ad Supported app. With a freemium version only 2 video segments can be recorded in a loop and recorded videos can only be played back within the app.
SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
Car Camera DVR offers a subscription plan that lets you record unlimited number video segments, turn off in-app advertisements and export and share recorded videos outside the app.
• Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable

Doesn’t work if iPhone CarPlay is engaged
I downloaded this app to use as a dash cam on my new car. I use Apple CarPlay and this app immediately freezes when CarPlay is engaged. This basically renders the app unusable which is unfortunate because it has the functionality I’m looking for.
Takes over my radio and phone.
Actually the app takes over the phone. Doesn’t dial any numbers, just displays the phone keypad. Mutes the radio even when I tell it NOT to record audio. Like the picture, but hate that it takes over my car’s radio and shows the dial pad. So if I use it, the pad stays up and total silence.
Jan 2022 still broken. I have a year old iPhone 12. Don’t buy
Worked very well about 5 years. Stopped working about a year ago. 2019. The app show updated mid 2021 update but still broken. I thought I should buy the no ad unlimited version and guess what? It’s still broken. Don’t waste your money or time. Worked well in the past but this developer or new owner doesn’t give a ship.
Scam
Bought the full version, but after changing to a new phone, under same apple account can not restore purchases, so I am stuck with the useless free version.
Scam app
I brought the full version, and they charged me $5.99, but yet for me to loop record I STILL have to upgrade, while right now is recording only for 2 minutes, and I have to manually change video aspect, and from metric to English. Wish I can have my money back it’s a good app if it only works RIGHT!
Has potential BUT..
This app could be really great but I can’t listen to Spotify or any music while it’s in use. Why? You’d think with today’s technology you’d be able to do so. I purchased the full version but I’ll be requesting a refund as I found an app that allows me to do both.
Program settings
Every time you want to record, you have to set it up. The default settings are metric and rate recoding has to be changed. Looking for a better one.

Не дружит с автофокусом. То сам выставит как не надо, но ему по фигу что нужно сфокусироваться. Фиск фокус можно сделать, но зачем , я не хочу. Нельзя яркость корректировать, а при засветке от солнца или уличного освещения ночью весьма не помешало бы. Ну и вишенка на торте, на экране дерганая картинка при записи. При воспроизведении все хорошо. И на этом спасибо.
