Almost there, just a simple tweak…

I’ve seen this in the reviews a few times and agree wholeheartedly. It would be so much better if you could add multiple food items to one entry. Instead, you have to make a new addition for each thing you consume. It makes it incredibly cumbersome and time consuming, ultimately driving down how often I’m able to take the time to use it, which impacts how good the data is.

Not Accessible Friendly

Way too much manual keystrokes for anyone dealing with inflammation or joint pain to suffer through. They really need to rethink UX and their features. Why is there no recipe import to save us time? Why is there no macro or nutrient breakdown of food? I can easily just track poop/stomach info on my own and pay another service far less to manage my diet/workout/water information with way more features. Not impressed for the money they charge.

Can’t find FODMAP list

My RND recommended I check out this app for food journaling purposes. I like the concept and can see how it’d be useful, but a huge flaw after one day of using it is that I can’t seem to add more than one food/drink item at a time? So if I want to separately add what I ate and what I drank, I have to go in and enter multiple times. It’s cumbersome and annoying.

Poor customer service and tech issues

I had been using this app for health purposes. Out of nowhere all of my information stopped showing up and i got an error code. I can’t use any of the information i have entered anymore. I used the customer support but they just send automated messages. it’s been two weeks since i reached out and their customer service has read my message and not responded. If you’re using for a health condition like I am I would look for a different app.

really liking it so far

I’ve only been using it for a few days but so far I really like the amount of detail you can add about your symptoms and other factors beyond food. One small thing that would be a huge improvement for me would be having a wider range of hours available in the “how much sleep did you get” section, since I suffer from fatigue related to my symptoms I regularly sleep 10+ hours a night and the sleep tracker only goes up to 8+, which make it hard to see if sleeping only 8 or 9 hours has an effect on my symptoms vs 10 or 11 hours. The sleep tracker also has pretty wide chunks of 2 whole hours, which I would think also makes this harder to track. That’s my only comment, otherwise great app! edit 2023: can’t really complain about a free app and in general cara care is amazing, but I wanted to report a small bug/UI issue that is very frustrating, which is that swiping down cancels a report before you’ve saved it. I’m not sure why this feature exists, since there is a very obvious cancel button, and the amount of times that I’ve wanted to delete an entire report I’ve written before saving it is far surpassed by the number of times I’ve accidentally slightly swiped down while trying to press the Save All button, thus deleting my carefully registered meal, symptoms, etc. and having to start over from zero due to a careless motion. Please please please if you can eliminate this gesture it would be a time saver!!!

So Helpful!

This app is great for anyone with food intolerance. I have POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) and it works great for me! There’s no ads, it’s free, and it’s easy to navigate. I’m so thankful I found this app.
