unique photography app
Found this app in instagram. Tried the bnw filters and found it amazing. Simply designed but functions so accurately and subtly. Unlike the rough filters by some other apps, this one is really stunning and can do lots of different styles . I really like it. minimalism system is a plus too.
Upgrade issue
Paid the upgrade but still locked. Message the developer but no feedback. Is it a cheating app?
is it a free app???
if after download, only the basic four filters over 56 versions can be used if not paying requested money, is it consider a free app????? misleading and confusing.

Potential future but awful present
Carbon Review There's so much wrong with this app that it's hard to know what annoys me most – besides paying for it in the first place. I wanted a good black-and-white converter. In many ways, it does that, but it's quite frustrating: 1. There's no landscape mode – an immediate problem. 2. The app always wants to sell me more filters – grunge, duotone, old photos, bokeh, light leaks, color fog, grain and dust. And two of those options always live in your menu, plus a big "More" – so they're always there. Put them under Settings or something. I bought CARBON for the BLACK, not anything else. 3. When you edit, there's no way that I found to compare the original with the change you've just made. And there's no Undo, so if you add several enhancements and want to back out of them, you can't. 4. Perhaps worst is the coy naming of the 57 individual black-and-white filters after 57 places, e.g. Milan, New York, Philadelphia, Ibiza, etc., etc., etc. So if you find two or three filters you like and want to compare, you simply have to remember these place names. Forget it. Numbers 1 to 57 would be easier to remember. Also good would be a way to move the filters you like, or have just used, to where you want them. I won't delete CARBON just yet – who knows, maybe they'll actually improve it, live up to their CARBON name and realize that some of us just want black-and-white. Hide all the extras you can buy so you don't have to look at them all the time. And get rid of the static intro page with stock black-and-white photos, and a menu that makes you choose a sample image or your own image. Be professional – put a sample image in a tutorial if you want, but realize that some of us ONLY want to use (and see) our own images. And why do I then go first to Crop before I can open an image? Crop is usually the last thing I do ... but you can't avoid it. CARBON has a future, but it has no present for me.
