Card Crusade

You buy cards in this game but only four are available at a time and you don’t get to choose which ones so you could go into battle with the worst possible cards. I have found no way to regain health except to play healing cards during a battle so you might have to go into battle with very low health against tough monsters and have to hope you have healing or shield cards available. And playing those cards can give the monsters cute chance to summon more enemies or grow stronger. This is such a huge disadvantage that I lost interest on the game.

This is one of the best games I’ve ever played, it’s so addictive! I really wish the developer would return for updates, I’d pay outright for a sequel. It’s my first rougelike/light experience and I think there’s a lot here to chew on. I recommended to my gf who has no experience with this kind of game and she’s hooked too! Please consider revisiting this gem of a game!!!

It is a fun game that doesn’t force you to buy anything or watch any ads

This game is so unbalanced for example the devil is so op it can spawn in another devil at the start of its turn and the devil that was spawned in can also spawn in a devil at the start of its turn like WHAT🤦‍♂️ on top of that there getting buffed by the fairy HOW IS THAT FAIR you can’t beat them unless you have a ability that can target AND one shoot them all at ones… this game is fun but the monsters are too strong Another one is the spiders… plz don’t make me get started in those😰🤦‍♂️

This seemingly simple little game has become an endless source of excitement for me. It’s one of the only games I’ve ever come across that truly requires strategy, forward planning, and a decent memory. Multiple different character classes to choose from, all with their own special traits, and each class adds specific bonus effects to certain card categories. There are no ads and there is no need to ever make an in app purchase. After a week or so of playing and paying attention, you’ll be able to figure out how to easily unlock all the characters so just stick with it. If the developer is reading this, I have two small suggestions that in my opinion would make the game even more well rounded. 1. When opening a chest sometimes I want both cars options, but have to only choose one. If there was an option to spend extra gold coins to buy the second card it would be an interesting feature. 2. Could you pretty pretty please possibly add a feature that allows players to double the speed of the enemy turns? Sometimes I try to squeeze in a few quick levels on my work breaks and I would be able to play through levels a little quicker with a feature like this. Overall I would recommend this game to literally anyone who wants to pass time with a fun but challenging free game. Hoping to see more from this developer in the future!

My topic line pretty much says it all. I found this game because I was looking for a mobile game similar to Slay the Spire, and this is what I found. What I wasn’t expecting was A/V design, exploration, and level-up mechanics that called back to playing the The Legend of Zelda and the original Final Fantasy on the NES. Consider this a “First Impression” rather than a full review as I haven’t been playing very long at all. But as far as first impressions go, I’m really loving this game.

The developers of this game are pretty genius. The combination of dungeon crawler and deck building keeps the game so entertaining. Love this game!
