You have to fix this app. It has a serious problem with screen rotation.It always tries to lock to landscape mode, only momentarily turning to portrait mode and then automatically switching back to landscape. Maybe that would not be that much of a problem if it were not for the fact that when in landscape mode the other problem is that the keyboard covers the text field so you cannot see what you’re writing if you want to write a note next to a reading you are saving (eg “ this was two hours after I gave my dog a diuretic pill“ -you know, important stuff to note down…). A really stupid design-flaw which has become a flaw in functionality.

1. My cat was diagnosed with chylothorax. Vet told me to use this app to monitor her breathing. Please let me specify that it’s a CAT, not a dog :) 2. My vet also told me to monitor the awake breaths, not just sleeping. Please let me specify waking vs sleeping. Because it’s an important distinction. 3. Please show me my comments in the chart. Could be just an icon that we can tap on to view the comment. 4. Don’t show us the splash screen every time we open the app. It unnecessary and annoying and slows us down, and the pet may not stay still that long.

My cat’s board certified veterinary cardiologist recommend this app but honestly it would be really nice if you could market it to both cat and dog parents. Their resting heart rate parameters are the same. There’s no reason to make cat owners believe they cannot trust this life saving app.

Even though we’ve recently lost our pup to heart disease I’m super thankful we had this app to monitor our boy. This app did prolong our time w/ out mr dog, I’m super thankful.

It works for what we need it for. Would love better options to navigate menus, remove the dog-centric branding (I use this for my cat), and better ways to export and analyze data.

It’s a helpful app that I can email data to my vet, but what about cats? I’m still using it for my cat just wish it was an option.

Does the job but HORRIBLE and ugly user interface! The menu almost off the screen and usually has to be tapped several times to get a response. Also should be dog OR cat profile. Cats have to be monitored for heart problems as well. Should have more options for time intervals as well. My vet advised 15 second intervals. App only allows 30 with no ability to adjust.

This app is designed to do exactly what it should and that is to help me count my dog’s breaths and keep track of the data over time. I did not know such apps exist and better yet, it is free! I cannot complain because it sure beat what I was doing before so thank you!

I love the app for monitoring my dogs breathing rate. However, he has a heart issue and I must keep notes. I went to the vet with my graph, breathing rate list, and I thought I had notes. Well there is absolutely no place to get the notes. I was so upset. I do not understand why this app promotes itself as helpful to pets and owners and gives the option to type notes and then does not allow you to access any notes you have typed or saved!! This needs fixed. How terrible!!

This App is a great tool for pet owners and doctors! User friendly and helpful.
