This app is trash. I scanned 20 cards…nothing ever pops up
Love this app. Helps me so much
Locks up freezes. No support. Says to sign up. Go to sign up and it says I am
So I was just looking for an app to find prices for my football cards so I saw this one got n stuff but then I searched 2 cards and after it said I have to pay!which is the dumbest thing and it’s not accurate so AVOID
This is a great app, my only complaint is that instead of paying monthly/ yearly, why can there be a one time charge option??
Cardstock is Great ‘ Better than any other on internet or around I grade cardstock 100% A+++
Please don’t use this app if you are trying to look up card values. The prices DO NOT match the specific card you are scanning in the app, I am talking hundreds of dollars difference. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Stay safe out there!
I scanned about 10 cards and they couldn’t find a match on any of them besides one. A Cole Kmet came back as a Justin Jefferson. Like how!!? Terrible.
After looking through several baseball card management apps, I decided to give Cardstock a try. I have a pretty large collection and wanted an app that would be able to quickly add cards and be easily sortable. This app promises unlimited scanning, value check, and card adding once you subscribe. So I paid the five bucks for the first month and started scanning. After the first five cards, suddenly the pay wall would appear anytime I tried to scan a new card. This should not have happened. The app explicitly says there is UNLIMITED scanning once you subscribe. I spent an hour looking through the settings in an attempt to figure out what was wrong. But no matter what I did, I was blocked from adding new cards. Needless to say, I was pretty annoyed and I messaged the support email to ask why they were engaging in false advertising and not letting me use their app. Didn’t hear from them until the next day, when I received an email denying that they were engaging in false advertising and stating that they had “made a mistake” with the paywall and if I just updated the app, it should work. Some people might like this app for the no-frills approach and easy layout. I would call it junk. it’s clearly a small time app run by some small time guy out of his garage who doesn’t know how to set up an app properly or even set up payments properly so that someone can use it when they subscribe. That’s all I need to know about how this app is run and how unreliable it is. Not to mention that the card values that this app assigns your collection are wildly off-base, and not even close to values that most other apps use. I don’t know where he’s getting his values, but when it tells me that a 1976 Topps Tom Seaver is $20 when everyone else says it’s $2, there’s something wrong. I’m assuming he must just have an implanted command that averages every sale of a card that it can find, whether it’s raw or graded, and calls that average the “market value.” This is a huge mistake that I’ve seen a couple other similar apps make, which greatly (and mistakenly) inflates card values. This app does not allow you to differentiate your cards’ possible value between raw and graded, and does not allow you to remove outlier sales. So what you end up with are card values that are ridiculously over-inflated, unrealistic, and useless. I cannot stress enough how worthless a card management app is in today’s trading world if you are unable to separate raw and graded pricing. It is absolutely
