Carmel - Car, Taxi & Limo

I have used Carmel three times. Each time was a huge disappointment. Twice I used them to pick me up at JFK and ended up waiting around for well over 30 minutes before I had to call them to see where my car was. Today, GPS showed the car sitting just outside the airport entrance not even moving. I don’t know how long I would have waited if I did call them. Same thing the last time they picked me up at JFK. Once they brought me to JFK. A TOTAL DISASTER. Twice the driver missed the entrance to the terminal so and we had to drive around in a circle and leave the airport and come back. He would have missed the entrance the third time but I screamed at him to move over to the off ramp. If I had to check bags for that flight, I would have surely missed it. As it was I had to run to my gate and just made it. I will never use them again. The stress is just not worth it.

I’ve been using Carmel for the last couple of years and have always had a great experience. It’s easy to book a ride and see the price options before booking. The drivers always show up on time or a little early, and are often friendly.

Yes. Our experience with Carmel has been excellent. Very punctual in picking us up both at home and at the airport. Their links to locations as the car nears our pick up is helpful, and the reminders of the reservation the day before and day of are very essential to putting our mind at ease. Their perks, coupons and rewards are generous in making the costs very competitive.

When I travel for business or pleasure I’m usually under a lot of pressure. Carmel relieves that pressure. I don’t have to search for a cab. I don’t have to wait for Uber or Lyft, who both are unreliable and very often late. The drivers at Carmel are always on time always pleasant. Get me to my destination and comfort and style.

Where can ya find a car service that truly cares! First timer here and when I couldn’t print the voucher, Charmaine phoned me to reassure me! What a nice thing to do! Then Lim: our driver, was in touch the whole time, communicating every step of the way! We were so lost at the cruise port but he just kept talking to us and directing us where to go! Truly over and above! I’m grateful for both Charmaine and Lim and can’t thank them enough!!
