I’ve played this game for about a year now. Graphics, physics, sounds, environments, variation, is all spot on. My biggest complaint of this game however is what a complete cash grab it is. Most of the cars you want are locked behind real money transaction which so completely defeats the purpose of grinding a game. I understand developers have to make money, but there certainly has to be ways to unlock features and cars in a legitimate manner. My conclusion is that this is a fantastic game, but the developers ruin it with greed.

I absolutely love this game, it’s really the only good rally game on the app store. The pace notes are on point and it doesn’t have funky mechanics. Would recommend to any rally fan.

Great driving experience and great tracks and cars, only issue I have is in C league championship, race 5 loads halfway and kicks me out of the game. Tried several times to restart race and championship, but it still happens. Won’t stop me from playing though. The game is that good. Great job with the realistic aspects of rally racing. Keep up the good work, and please fix that little bug.

Yesterday I wrote a review about a few cars I think should be added, and I mentioned Hoonigan, well I have a few names for possible additions, for the ‘1991 Hoonigan Ford Escort Cosworth’ from Gymkhana 10, could be called the ‘Hopper Costly,’ as well as a livery for the ‘Holiday 2000T AWD’ of the Gymkhana 10 Ford Fiesta ST. If anyone at CarX sees this and gets it implemented, I’d be in awe, thank you either way. :)

This is the best way to play rally on mobile, including through cloud gaming or desktop streaming. I would love Multiplayer to launch (says “coming soon”, as least in the form of leaderboards. I feel like there needs to be one more slider for steering sensitivity or something for controller users. It feels very jerky no matter where I set the existing sliders. In the meantime, though, slowing down the steering wheel animation in cockpit mode when using a controller would help. I can’t use cockpit view with the steering wheel flying around that fast.

What assist am I referring to? As soon as you get your first rear wheel drive car, you'll know what I'm talking about and it is so disorienting for someone whose played a copious amount of sim titles. It's the one, the only, steering assist. Just like almost every Forza title, it intentionally won't let you do certain things REGARDLESS of which settings you use. Okay, well... That's a lie, because it's not like the Forza assists... It's 10X more powerful! Now, instead of putting arbitrary and pointless limits on what you can do with the steering, it steers FOR YOU. What ever direction you point the wheel in is the direction it will TRY to go. The worst part is that it doesn't always work. If you are too sideways then it won't be able to go that way. You have no feedback that this happening either because your wheel isn't connected to the tires anymore. You can't tell how much you need to steer the car to actually maintain the current slide because you AREN'T in control of the slide. But it only gets better from here. To some, this might all still seem harmless enough, but all of this causes another big issue. Unpredictability. Anyone who knows anything about cars will tell you that this is the last thing you want. I don't know how many times I've ended up in a ditch because I tried to correct something stupid that the game was doing just to have it do what I wanted... X2! So then I go from oversteering ONE way to oversteering the OTHER way. Now again, this can't be disabled. If it wasn't for this, it would be five stars. As of now though, I find this completely unplayable. Front wheel drive was fine enough, rear wheel drive really shows the flaws of this game. Please, just make it so I can actually steer the car, and I will come back. For now, I'm uninstalling it.
