You need a so called Casio ID to access any data from your watch or sync the time. Meanwhile, Casio will collect your data and share or sell with whoever pays them for it. They somehow forgot why people buy Casio watches in the age of smart watches, you know, so not all your activity are collected and shared with data hungry companies. Totally lost connection to its fanbase. Shame on you Casio!

Why does the app need a registered login to pair my watch? Pure data mining and the first and last casio i bought.

Es wäre gut, wenn das App noch ein wenig verbessert werden würde. Das Garmin App zum Beispiel bietet viel mehr Möglichkeiten! Auch sollte die Uhr ein wenig verbessert werden!

wem fällt so eine unsinnige und sinnbefreite App ein? Sehr schade um die alte App. Uhr ist damit wertlos und Casio für mich Geschichte. Gut gemacht 😳

The app requires registration to work, this is a bad joke. Besides that, the developers were too lazy to implement sane session handling, so if you use the app occasionally (like I do), then you need to log in every time. Annoying. Furthermore, Casio’s marketing department should get a clue. I want to synchronise the watch I already bought, and not see ads of other watches by default. Because that is the page the app opens with. Stick to the Unix philosophy: do one thing (manage Bluetooth watches) and do it well!

Im Vergleich zur vorgänger App ist diese noch schlechter. Auch sehr schade, es lassen sich keine GPX files von den Tracks erstellen lassen. Desing, Function und Infrastrukturmässig könnte sich Casio einiges von Suunto oder gar Garmin abschaun.

Bin Besitzer von mehreren G-Shock Uhren. Nutze immer noch die G-Shock Connected - App auf zwei Geräten- Smartphone. Leider kann man die Casio Watches App nur auf einem Smartphone installieren, was total bescheuert ist und was bei mehreren Uhren nervt - alle Empfangen den Signal von einem Smartphone - leidet die Batterie - 4 mal täglich die Aktualisierung jeder einzelnen Uhr im Takt von 2 Minuten. Eine wichtige Funktion bei BT Uhren ist die Zeitaktualisierung. Leider muss man sich in ein Account mit Instagram registrieren, um diese Basisfunktion der gekauften Uhr nutzen zu können. Wenn man ein neue kleine G-Shock kauft, ist man total auf BT-Connecting angewiesen. Sonst ist die Uhr in ihrer Funktionalität beschränkt. Das ist ein Zwang! Solche Sinnlosigkeit kann ich als ein G-Shock-Fan nicht verstehen und zustimmen.

Ich müsste mich registrieren, um die Uhrzeit synchronisieren zu können.
