Roman New Jerusalem Bible

Would be nice to add the real names of the apostles and Jesus. Makes everything comes to life better than giving them an English name but it is a Great Bible. Also the real names of the places.

The only thing I find REALLY troubling is the background colour! Please change to white only.

There are some bugs that make it hard to use on iPhone.

Easy to useandceven better is the Spoken word.

Love the app, also have the softcover bible version, I would love to see the Introductions the actual bible has, brought into the app.

The App is great but the robotic voice loses the solemnity of my meditation.

Great app, just one thing is the voice. It sounds like a robot reading it to me . I would rate it a five star if the voice was more original. Other than that it is good.

Easy to use and find chapters. Only thing is the computerized voice is hard to understand at times. Would be better with a person reading, so you can hear the proper inflections and pronunciation. Also would be great, is knowing when a new verse and chapter starts, instead of the continuous reading. When driving it is hard to know

The audio is a great feature, but like the previous reviewer, I would prefer the text be read by a live person. The ESV app is a good example. The reader has a pleasant voice and I tend to use the ESV app more because of it. Having said that, though, the ESV only has the 66 books of the Bible instead of all 73.

So far, I am extremely satisfied with the NJB which I never dreamed of having. It reads for me, I can choose from various English speakers, it highlights verses and scrolls for me. I no longer have to worry about which verse is being read whether I am sitting near to or away from the reading. I am happy. I am sure this app has many more features which I will observe later. Currently, I am focusing on books that are eliminated from my Bible. Thank you. Yvonne
