Currently waiting in the Kingsgate crossing wondering what the delay is. Crossing not listed on this app.
Incomplete. Many crossing not there. Trip planner alternately doesn’t work or uses incomplete data. Quite a mess really.
The concept is great but the information is incomplete. There are border crossings missing. You don’t see wait times for some crossings. What’s much worse is that the trip planner ignores the missing crossings. So for example, if you want to go from Bonners Ferry, Idaho , to Yahk, British Columbia, a 40 mile trip via the Eastport/Kingsgate crossing, the app will route you through Couts/Sweetwater in Montana. That’s a detour of hundreds of miles. These omissions of crossings make the trip planner completely useless.
Why isn’t the Pigeon River border crossing time included in the app?
Added my 2 favorite crossing to Favorites But then when you go to favorites tab it still shows all available all the way across Canada. Still need to scroll down. Then “wait” time currently listed as unknown. For everything every where. I “assume” someone thought this was a great idea - but then abandoned the app as it has no updates or information access.
Only shows a few high traffic locations. Won’t show locations near me, let alone details. No useful information for crossings. The stupid thing actually wanted me to drive all the way to Vancouver and back to my area to cross when there are a few crossings within an hour or so. A complete waste of government money and our time. Absolute joke.
This app doesn’t believe that my departure time tomorrow morning isn’t in the past...it will only give me information for this time of day tomorrow or later, and keeps telling me “departure date and time cannot be in the past.” We are driving from Seattle to Vancouver and I was just trying to find out what time would be best, since we are entirely flexible. So much for using the app for its intended use, I guess.
Finally an app that can provide accurate border crossing wait times in an easy to use package. Simple to set your favorites and flip back and forth between the two countries. There is a counterpart version made by USA that is dysfunctional so this is the best at this time.
It’s not very helpful when you set a trip planner date and time that is in fact in the future, and the planner keeps telling you that you cannot set a date in the past.
