CHASING GO2

My Chasing F1 Underwater Drone isn’t any use if I can’t get the app to operate it to work. And it doesn’t. I can’t maneuver, steer, calibrate, adjust, etc. all I can do is lower and raise the camera. I’m sending this item back.

Video feed is choppy and keeps showing “connection unstable” even when my phone is physically touching the Wi-Fi buoy. Makes the drone completely unusable and impossible to control. I really wanted to go like the Dory but I can’t. Tried on iPhone, IPad , and even an old Android. Worked “best” on the android but not very good even there.

Cannot get calibrated. Another lesson from Chinese product!

Doesn’t work with my iPhone says unlocked fail

Comparability says “works on this iPhone” on both my husband and my phones. (We have different phones). Doesn’t work on either of them. The app opens but we constantly get the “unlocked failed” so we can’t control the drone at all, only raise and lower the camera. Can’t calibrate either. What it does work on though is our iPad Air. I’m not taking my iPad Air out on a body of water and risk it dropping in the water just to control this drone.

The app is terrible. Clunky at best and the features don’t work right. Cant get logged into their server half the time. The drone once connected, when you get that far, doesn’t work. Only feature that did work was raising the camera and lowering the camera. Props wouldn’t turn on until the app was forced closed. For $600 it’s junk.

I can’t connect to the drone even though it’s connected and I can see old videos. Please fix your software!!!!

The app does work and I can control dory but it seems as if there was little to no testing for the app. Anytime you change any settings for controls etc and exit the dory control screen most settings reset. To change the elevation angle of dory there is a slider which if you don’t touch in a certain sweet spot you have to click 2 or 3 times because the joystick pops up. Images and videos don’t directly save to phone gallery. You have to save them to the gallery before you disconnect from dory. I wish you could alter the real time video screen color to help with sun brightness. I keep running into a issue where dory is not being able to submerge or surface unless I force stop app and restart.

Works great on latest generation of iPad mini! Can’t wait for the battery to charge to go again :) Tips: 1. The wifi password is 12345678 2. If you loose wifi connection. Get closer (if possible), press the back button and then start button to resume control and start the video feed again. Current version appears to have issues with motor unlocking on iPhone XS Max running iOS 13.3
