Mr. Miami
This app can’t even allow you to do what it was created for. Gifting process is horrible. You guys need to be shut down because this is a fraud of an app!!! I never review apps but do not waste your time downloading.

Couldn’t even get it to recognize my location at the ballpark to even try the ordering process. Don’t waste your time with it!!!
I don’t think I’ve ever rated an app but had to express how trash this one is. Holy moly. Waste of time for Miami users.
App didn’t work when we needed it the most. Terrible experience at bite of Seattle.
The CHEQ app acted as an obstacle between the myself and the vendors. I will not go to an event that uses this, or similar, app.
This app made the bites of Seattle absolutely terrible. There was no inability to cancel order so if the food truck ran out of what you paid for, you were out of luck. Little to zero help from the app workers to facilitate people on site. Just another poor example of a software company trying to do way too much.
Tells you not to do something for your own good, but you do it anyways. Technology isn’t always the answer, maybe for a tech convention🤣 not a food/old school vendor s event
First of all, if you go through the 4 or 5 stars review of this app, those comments do not make any sense. They’re either fake or were written by their own developers. This should already explain a lot of how this company works. This app is a prime example of something that is good on paper, but not in real world. Before going to the bite of Seattle, I saw all of those influencers were saying all the good stuffs about the app and how easy it was to order and pick up the food, I was excited. Obviously, they must get paid to lie about that. Here are what wrong with the app. First, you must give your private info. By default, the app would share your location (which vendor you’re purchasing) whenever you make purchase. Everyone can see your first name and what you’re buying. You must disable that manually, but if you just download the app, I bet anyone even knows that feature exists. Secondly, once you make a purchase, they will charge your credit card immediately. This is even before checking-in or waiting for the food. There’s no universal system on how each vendor does the check-in or hand out food. At one vendor when I was ordering hotdog, no one waited in line. They just stood all over the place. So I just went ahead and check-in. Then, the seller would call out the name of the buyer. I was waiting for half an hour until I decided to ask the vendor for my order. Turns out, someone had already took my hotdog. Another incidence is when I already placed my order and when I went to pick it up, they said it was already sold out. She asked me to pick something else because it’s hard to do refund. That vendor is full of old folks. They apologized for not knowing how refund worked. The app already charged my credit card. I lost 10 bucks because I was able to purchase items on the app while it was already sold out. I could go on and on of how bad this system. I can’t believe how this company ruins Bite of Seattle like this. I hope next year, they will get rid of this app. Please allows credit card. We just want food without having to stress out about my phone battery, internet data and what line is this “check-in line or pick up line”. What’s worse is how they charge the card immediately after placing the order. At least wait after we check-in. The part where the vendor doesn’t even know how to refund is just crazy. Did this company even give them training on how this system works? I feel bad for the vendors especially those old folks I encountered. The
Just another tech company stealing your personal data and making money off processing fees. Perhaps everyone at this company can get an ethical job instead of fixing a problem that never needed to be fixed.
sponsors bite of Seattle again, won’t go back. Gave one star bc I can’t give zero. Have to use app to purchase anything. Find food on app. Purchase through app. Stand in line to check in at food stand. Then stand in another line to scan card. Then stand to side to wait for food. Basically 4 different lines to purchase food.
