Worst app ever
Probably the best tactics trainer I have tried. Human curated positions. No wonky computer material.
GOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
One of the best websites. Their courses are very tactical and brilliant adapted. The will definitely improve your cognition and are a blast. Highly recommend Chess King for anyone from a beginner who just started playing to a 2600 rated GM. Anyone can learn something new.
It’s great l love it. But if could have a few gm videos talking through game advancing in all stages open mid end game. And how to set up attacks or defend them. The app shows you these and that’s great for autonomy play. Still a gym showing and saying we do this to set up attacks of kings and high value pieces they could tactics to checkmate still great app I bought them all. I know so many chess apps and books and this has potential to be best. Just improve and add free the updates. Thanks 🙏🏻
An excellent program to learn and improve your chess, tactics ,strategy ,and play , specially to practice tactics and patterns and spaced repettion training ... well done .
I have ct-art tactics on this, and they are great. Best tactics training I have done. Incredible guidance if you get. Puzzle wrong and ability to use chess engine to explore. Very good selection of puzzles.
I’ve only just purchased this app a couple of days ago and I would say, for a person that’s only semi savvy on the computer, this app is not necessarily user friendly. I paid the $12.99 so I was surprised how busy the interface was and the use of the voice for the videos. It took me a few times to figure out where to even start. I say all this because I hope things can either be fixed or maybe, it’s just like the developers want it to be, in which case, I’ll move on to a more beginner friendly app. This app may be for the more advanced. That’s okay too. I did figure out how to slow down the computer voice so I could at least keep up with the info. My suggestion is that the interface should be broken down into digestible courses. As a beginner, I don’t even know the pieces or how they move. I don’t even want to discuss theory, as exciting as that sounds! Please take this review with the humility it was submitted. Thank you.
This is not the flashiest chess app but, for me, it’s the best! I’ve used chess.com, Magnus, Chessable, etc, and this one is the best. The learning techniques and puzzles are thoughtful and skill appropriate. Very happy with my purchase!
The user interface is harder than trying to learn chess
