What you’ll find is you’ll win 5-6 games. Then you lose one or two and win one or two and then you lose 5-6 games and that pattern plays out. Their is an algorithm which fixes it in this way. I think there’s room for a better chess app.

Much prefer v3.8.14 which thankfully is on my wife’s old iPad. She is fed up of me using hers. I have seen message how to return to the older version, but it doesn’t work for me, any help? Again the format has changed and will probably go elsewhere
Very rare to play a match against someone with their rating correct. Many matches against people with ratings of 550 playing at 97%+ accuracy. Very nice when you do get to play against another human of similar levels, but these matches are few and far between.

Has everything you need you just have to look hard enough
I don’t like the changes to puzzles. I switched back to “Classic Mode” but the puzzles have changed so they show the next move so you don’t have to think. Maybe there’s another setting somewhere to switch this off but I haven’t found it? Why do people insist on changing stuff for the sake of it when often the new version is worse than the old?
Why did I lose a chess game when I was Not checkmated or run out of time ? Most annoying normally I enjoy playing this to site but this is not acceptable in addition I lost another game because the computer said I aborted the chess game but I did not and when you try to complain no one’s interested.🤬🤬
