Very 1980’s
App is very poor. Am a subscriber and loading digital edition of paper is very antiquated - wont load automatically and ad loads in top of screen which i cannot remove. need to bring this app into the 1990’s at least!

• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
• Your subscription automatically renews each month unless auto-renew is turned off within your Account Settings at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
• Your iTunes account will be charged $19.99 for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
• No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

Needs a lot of work
Having to re-log every other day is annoying. Still shows me ads even though I am an add free subscriber. Glitches and resets often. This app needs help.
needs a few critical updates to be awesome
1) dark mode 2) audio option to listen to articles

Why is it required that I get every update in order to read the newspaper? It seems like every time I use this app, I have to get an update. Why?

Too much tracking of me
There is WAY TOO MUCH tracking of your users’ information. And access to your product is behind a paywall, which is even more shameful.
Needs work
The best place to get info about Chicagoland is still the Trib, however navigating the online content can be a real nightmare. The frequent pop-up video ads are intolerable. The way that the screen can jump to another story is truly a bummer and it doesn’t allow the reader to get back to where they have left off. I have been tempted to cancel my subscription and very well may if these issues aren’t addressed.

Will no longer open on iPad
I have been using the iPad to read the Chicago Tribune for years. I have been having trouble with it on my iPad for the past few months. I have done a lot of troubleshooting and still I am only able to open it sporadically. Very frustrating,
