ChickFocus: Pomodoro Timer

id like to be able to see my chicken moving in a farm. otherwise, amazing. truly helped me concentrate and increase my productivity! and the interface is not distracting, the colors of other apps make me dizzy, this one doesn’t. more amimals would make it more gamified?

Has a lot of potential but app is buggy. Crashes randomly. When you try to add whitelisted apps, this app won’t show all system apps and when you check an app to be whitelisted, it won’t save. Another minor complaint is the chickens are just black and white, and when you click on farm it doesn’t show your chickens, just gives you very basic stats that don’t really give useable or helpful data. Sync also doesn’t work at all.

I love it and am extremely tempted to buy the Pro version, however, it misses a few essential features. The app is one of few that is minimalistic in a very pleasing way. It’s easy to use, and is also the only one I could find that allowed free users to focus for longer than 2 hours. If you get pro (I obtained the free trial), you gain further access to a very enjoyable view of your data. My last compliment before my concerns is the achievements, which encourage completionist to seek out focus sessions. The biggest issue I ran into was the inability for even Pro users to edit their data. If I’m going to pay for a subscription, or even the lifetime subscription, then I expect to have unrestricted access to what I can put in an delete. If I accidentally start a session, I can’t even cancel it without it logging as a failure. Then it is permanently a part of your data. I understand this would slightly mess with the achievement system, however there are very easy ways to get around those issues (such as not count inserted sessions that I may have forgotten to log, or make achievement progress locked in regardless of deleted sessions). I really love this app, and it’s the only one that has met a large majority of what I was looking for. I would extremely appreciate if this feature could be implemented, and would make me a lifetime member for sure, however I still will use the free version. Some other ideas that are less important to me but would be cool to see: - sceneries (instead of white background) would be cool to see these gotten from achievements too - color coding for labels, would also add color to the data tables and bring life to the app (keep the black and white minimalistic design as an option though) - I’d love to see some sort of implementation of a streak system. Maybe for logging in and focusing for a specific amount of time, or something else. I just feel it would be another motivating factor to want to study. It doesn’t even have to be daily, it could be study once a week. Too Long Didn’t Read; I’d like to see pro users be able to edit all their data, unrestricted. More info about what I mean above.

Manual time inputs do not appear on the widget I wish there an option to not use a 24 hour clock There should be an option to change the start of the week. In America, it’s traditionally Sunday. Good app, very cute. A little buggy in choosing which apps are allowed during focus time. I wish there was a dark mode and a way to interact with the farm animals or see them wonder around a farm house/land that slowly grows with more successes.
