But I docked a star to hopefully to get the developer to take notice. It’s almost perfect! As far as freebies, the available sounds and flexibility of scheduling frequency is fantastic. I don’t mind that you have to set it anew every day (due to Apple iOS notification limits) because my days are pretty variable, so it forces me to think about how to approach my day. The existing sounds are nice too, or if I leave my phone on silent on my person while I’m in public, it still serves my needs on vibrate. Downsides: trying to buy more sound options…didn’t work. I tried for a week restarting my phone, trying “Restore purchases,” which usually crashed the app but didn’t restore on start up, and finally emailed Support via the email under Contact—nada. :( after no email, I successfully requested a refund from Apple. I love the flexibility and especially how streamlined it is to set compared to other apps, what’s free vs VERY cheap add-ons, but if I can’t actually acquire those add-ons, I’ll look elsewhere. I just need more audio variety.
I really like this app. I wanted regular reminders so I can stay focused. I love that the app buzzes and shuts off immediately without me requiring to snooze it. I also love the bird chirps; they make my alerts much less annoying. The only issue is I can’t seem to upgrade to other sounds; there seems to be an app bug.
This is a really great app for regular reminder tones. I wanted something that would chime the hours and quarter-hours, like a grandfather clock, but with more modern sounds. This app, in its current form, does allow for that kind of reminder schedule. Plus, the interface is wonderfully simple, and not having to deal with ads is such a relief! That being said, I have found a few bugs: 1. Often when scheduling those chimes in the morning, I get a pop-up saying that the notification queue is full, and that the chimes can’t be scheduled after a certain time. I think this happens even when using an Automation through the Shortcuts app, but I’ve mostly experienced it when scheduling things manually. I assume this is a result of the larger number of chimes I like to have, so it may not be an issue for most people! 2. I’ve tried a couple times to purchase a new chirp sound from the sound library, partly because I wanted to support the developers since there are no ads. (Again, so nice not having ads!!) But both times I’ve tried, I’ve received an error message, and the new chirp sound never unlocks, even after the payment goes through on Apple’s end. There is a “restore purchases” button in the app, but everything crashes whenever I hit it. (Currently running 15.8.1.) I tried sending the developer an email the first time but never received a response. Was able to get a refund from Apple for both purchases. 3. Fair warning, this is the tiniest of nit-picks, but it’s something that bothers me so I thought I’d mention it in case the developer is reading: when the chirps slots page is full, “some” is misspelled “som” in the “0 free slots left” message. Again, that’s a completely unimportant thing to comment about, and I’ve probably made a typo somewhere in this rating too. Overall, this is a very useful app with great potential, and I like to use it even despite those issues. Thanks to the developers for making it happen. :)
Best way to keep myself on track with how much time is passing with minimal effort.
Didn’t work on iPhone 14, difficult to set start and start time, does not vibrate with sound.
Since the death of the “hourly” feature in the reminders app, I’ve been trying to find an alternative in proxy. I happened to stumble upon this app, and to my delight, it works extremely well. I, for one, love birds, so this was also a cute twist for notifications. It’s not obnoxious, rather, I’d say it’s quite minimalistic. Love this app, you can do a lot with it.
The app does exactly what I wanted, but is limited. The extra unlock prices are insanely high.
Love the minimal design & interface along with the respect for my data privacy. Don't understand the need to reset everything every day and force users to reschedule every morning. Defeats the purpose of the app for me.
