Chord Pickout

Terrible UI. Requires you upload your files to Apple Music which can take hours or fail completely. As this is an iPad app, primarily, you shoud be able to put a music file in your folder and open it. The file I tested didn’t produce accurate results and I even stripped out the vocal so all it had to listen to was the music track. Wildly expensive for what it is.

I paid for the app, now I have to pay for a subscription?

So I’ve used chord Pickout for the longest time and I’ve even told many other people about your app and they even used the app and now I have to pay a monthly subscription!?!? I SHOULD be grandfathered in BUT no I get a slap in the face with a ‘discounted annual rate’ well don’t worry. I’ve deleted the app!! There are others out there. Thank you, but no thank you!

When I initially purchased this app, there was no subscription fee listed and it was a complete shock when I tried to use it again recently and discovered I was shut out of it unless I paid additional fees. I would have understood if it had been part of the original purchase but this is completely out of the blue.

You gotta be kidding! I paid for this app, which rarely ever gets it(the cords)correct, and now I have to pay to use it? I’ll take chances without it.

I originally wrote that this didn’t even load. An update fixed that, I was pleased with the app. Now suddenly there’s a screen asking for a monthly subscription. What did I even pay for?

I’m changing my review. The developer obviously listens to their clients! The app was updated and now works (opens). I loaded a pretty basic song, had it analyze the chords and it got the majority of the chords correct compared to the actual chart for the song! I can see how more complex songs would be more difficult, but you can’t fault the app on this extremely difficult task. Good job on this app
