I worked in IT myself and this app is by far the worst one I have come across in a while. There are definitely ‘bugs’ in the system as emails are being lost due to a bad interface and/or terrible information. Contacting Customer Service was almost pointless as they seem to not understand the severity of the problem. Due to a lack of clarity and insufficient information the customer is lead to believe that certain things are possible without irreversible damage such as losing tons of emails that you will never get back. They are not placed in a specific folder as extra security. They’re gone, for good. As always, a system is just a system that will execute what you have asked it to do. We can’t blame the system. We can only blame the developer for not communicating the impact of certain actions. Such as “Ignored emails” that will permanently remove emails, which have been read by you, put into folders, been put on the “exclude folders” list and that you have been actively using. You’ve been warned!
€11 a month is a lot, but it's not necessary to use it continuously. I used it as a cleanup tool, and it was excellent for that. I loved being able to group my e-mails by sender and sort by amount of e-mails, made finding digital piles of useless newsletters and such super easy. Went down from 3800 to <500 in less than a day without fearing any losses. :) You can go into it without purchasing premium first to see whether it has the features that suit your inbox.
This app is trial, not free! After checking 1000 emails you’re requested to pay $9 a month to keep using it! So imho useless!
This app has promise, but it keeps asking me to provide suggestions to handle the same sender all the time. Once would think that after asking all emails from a specific sender to go to the To Read FolderC the app would direct them there, however the app continues to ask me to tell it what to do with the email from the same sender, every time I receive an email. It also continually presents the same emails over and over again. Very poorly executed application that really isn’t worth the cost. You can sort your emails and perform the same function for free in Gmail and Yahoo’s native email apps.
I got this ap primarily to stop email spam with consistent topics (titles) that constantly change the email of origin slightly making ‘blocking’ the email by sender useless. It just comes again with a slightly changed email address. Clean Email’s Auto Clean feature allows you to ‘clean’ and specify words in email titles but doesn’t allow you to run it on your existing emails, or ‘on demand’. Once you build your ‘rule’ it just says “Did not run yet”, so after 5 days and confirming I’m getting the same junk emails, nothing happens. I’ve tried their support (and getting responses) but getting no help except to confirm it can’t be run on demand. Unfortunately I’m canceling the subscription and deleting the ap.
Tons of spam eliminated… finally. Works as advertised.
Wish I could get my money back
I have used this for about six months. Not one email has been blocked, no unsubscribe has work, and most of all, all spam has increased. Do not but this one.
I was willing to try this app based on a promised free trial. I was immediately charged $53 for a subscription. Apple refuses to refund although I cancelled within minutes. Developers claim sign up was clear but apparently it is not. They claim they are unable to refund and unable to contact Apple to issue a refund. Meanwhile, I am out $53 for a product I don’t want. I’m sure it does what it says but set up is complicated. I rate this as developer as deceptive and a scam.
