PastePal - Clipboard Manager

I was skeptical about how much I’d use this tool, but again and again it saves time going back to recently copied items just to copy them again.

I want to start off by saying that the UI and features are great as is, but these would make the Mac and iOS app a lot better: - I tried copying emojis a few times & the app did not add them to the clipboard on both Mac and iOS (I’ve triple checked the auto save to clipboard & keyboard access to both devices, but it still remains a running issue) - This is a lot more common on the iOS app, the iOS app almost never auto saves to clipboard.

If you only need this on a single device, you might be okay (though I have been getting constant prompts to quit the app since the last update). The iCloud sync just does not work to be able to access content across devices which is the main reason I purchased this. Very unfortunate.

I use PastePal everyday, and have wondered why I have not heard it anywhere else. I used to use an app called MyMind, which was amazing and work similar to PastePal, but was more advertised as an idea saving app. I would really suggest that this team tries to market the app in the same way. Maybe add “AI” features in the future. I think the name and the app style is very attractive so just a little marketing will help push it to a bigger audience.

Pasting content is a premium feature? Get out. This functionality is free in Windows.

It’s the best copy + paste app in the app store. Perfect.

Some things like viewing individual images in the keyboard don’t work at all, other features like live activity and adding items to collections from share menu are very buggy. Also has issue with duplicating items and doesn’t have an automatic history cleaner or a way to remove multiple items at once without clearing entire list. BUT it does work well for the most part, and the price is reasonable unlike some others. One of the best features is the Shortcuts actions included. Would be nice if all the features were explained properly though, the documentation is useless. Also would be nice if the background monitor would pop out automatically with one tap like others do, instead have to manually do it. I hope dev keeps improving this app as it is certainly one of the best available, and the only one I’ve purchased after trying all the others!

I really liked the look and functionality of this app but the text in the thumbnails is too small for me to read which makes it difficult to select a clip since I can’t read what it says. I contacted the developer and he said that dynamic text is still a work in progress. I will follow the development of this and hope that they implement that feature.

I wanted to check it out and probably buy it. However, unless you want to fork out $15 immediately; it does not do a dang thing. Pretty, uesless. I will keep looking.
