Best reminder app if you want to build a habit.
I’m trying to add a goal “Drink a gallon of water”, but each time I click join, it glitches and won’t add the goal. I’ve used this app in the past and just redownloaded it because it used to work well for me. Please, someone fix my issue and I will be happy to change my review.
I've been a dedicated user of Lift/Coach.me for over ten years, but I'm concerned about the app's future, particularly the Habit Tracker feature that I've valued highly. Recently, I've encountered significant issues: on my iPhone, attempting to add a new habit results in an "Error loading results" message. On the web app, while search results do appear, the option to add a new, undefined habit is absent. This limits users to adding only pre-existing habits, which is problematic if you're trying to add a habit with a slightly different name. I hope this feedback reaches the development team and that these issues can be addressed promptly. I'm aware that the original founder stepped down in 2022, and I extend my best wishes to the new management. I hope they continue the legacy of diligent bug fixes and app improvements.
This was my favorite app until very recently. I’m not sure if they’re supporting it anymore as I have sent multiple questions to their Support email address with no response. A while back, I stopped being able to add new goals. I uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, etc. but no luck. As I mentioned, I reached out to their support team multiple times with your response. Very disappointing because this used to be a great app.
I used to love this app, I had years of habits tracked. Suddenly I got logged out, and that’s when I realized that it’s full of glitches and bugs. I couldn’t log back in through Facebook, I couldn’t use my Facebook email to log in or create a new account. Writing to devs didn’t help. I decided to abandon my old account with years of data and create a new one, and what did I find out? I cannot create new habits anymore! What a shame! The worst part of it is that I tried to use other habit apps, even paid ones, and I hate all of them! They always miss something that I used to like in coach.me! I really don’t know what to do and I am so frustrated that they abandoned this app…
This app used to be great but they no longer respond to emails. A year ago I sent an email requesting that the IT team fix glitches such as not being able to add more goals, the app glitching when you try to archive a goal and being able to go back further than 7 days to add a checked-off goal if you’ve been to busy but they only responded once with an automated copy-and-paste response which did not address any of my concerns. They also haven’t responded to my last two emails the past several months so this app clearly is not interested in helping their loyal users nor improving their app at all to fix all the many glitches and issues. Maybe I’ll make a rival app which will be better than this one since they’re so above reproach!
My favorite app. Have been using this for 6 years every single day!! Made some awesome friends through it and there’s a sweet little community (or you can do your own thing too). Update: I’m still using the app. It’s sad that they can’t pay a developer to fix the few bugs they gave with the app. Tony has left. The (free-habit) community is still going strong (you just have to know where and find the super-users). One particular goal has an incredible community and is changing lives. The coaching option truly works, if you find the right coach that doesn’t write back platitudes and doesn’t mind checking in daily. I’ve tried at least 5, and 2 were fantastic. Just cancel if yours doesn’t work.
Seems like the developers have all but abandoned this app. Last update was three years ago. Functionality in many areas is broken. Devs still answer emails, last I checked, but they're not fixing bugs anymore as far as I can tell. Pretty much unusable now which is a shame, as it used to be great and a real favorite.
I have used coach.me for years and find it genuinely helpful. It is the distressing lack of attention to what has to be a glitch on the server end, to where at least a couple of times per year the check in function in the app malfunctions and fails to record checks. Sometimes you can succeed to check in on the web version or if you drill down into the calendar display for each habit…but it’s so annoying. Their FAQ on this issue blames the user more than the tech…then tells you: Delete and reinstall the app. 🤦🏽♂️
