Cobu - Power Genuine Community

This App is a connection to the other people in our apartment building we get to share information and get to know each other in short snippets. Happy to have this little place to be able to check in with other residents.

If you go to their website it looks like a great app and service but in practice it’s terrible and doesn’t even work 1/2 of the time. I emailed my property manager to bring attention to how Cobu's app doesn’t work and their support team is not responsive and that they should consider something else for their apartment buildings because whatever they are paying Cobu is more than they deserve.

This app is always crashing. Sometimes you get notifications sometimes you don’t. Sometimes the app takes a long time to load when you open it, sometimes it doesn’t. You never know what you’re going to get when you click on the Cobu app. I’ve been using it for years and the only reason why I have is because my building uses it. I feel bad that they invested in this app. There should be a resolution for all these bugs and glitches by now….

I love the app. It is always keeps me on top of everything in my building. Events,groups,marketplaces. Easy to communicate with the neighbours.A+++ Thank you

I never receive notifications. I’ve checked settings in the app and on my phone to confirm notifications are set to on but I don’t get notifications. Why? The app is a great idea but not receiving notifications is annoying.

Awesome app to have in my building. Love knowing what’s going on and being able to humanize interactions with my neighbors. Makes me feel like I live in a community vs a large building with strangers

I get a white screen when I try to open the app.

Every time I download the app it works for a couple of hours. If close out of it and reopen, all I get is a white screen. I have deleted and reinstalled app more times that I can count. I also change my password. When I go to use new password, it says I have the wrong password and email address. I know it is the right email as you send me the link to reset my password.

I have been trying for weeks to get my password reset and sent several emails to support and crickets. Trash

Unless you speak highly of the property you live at and everything is rainbows and sunshine with your neighbors don’t bother using this app to voice a complaint. You’ll be blocked and banned without any warning. The moderation on this app is ridiculous.
