Cocoon Smart Doorbell

Thanks for a great app and camera. Is there any way to grab the video stream and display on a website as an RTSP stream or something similar? I have two devices and would love to integrate them more into my IoT setup. Happy to share success details if able to do so. Thanks in advance. Mike

Not connecting but door bell works

Was working perfectly for over a year ,took it off to charge up then wouldn’t play showing it’s connected ( complete ) but just keeps reading then cut off I’ve given up put in the bin never buy cocoon again not worth a star that I m giving

Can’t get the app to connect. Flash white and then red. Read up on the issue and it’s a developer issue

The time it takes for the door bell to notify the app on you phone takes too long. The app doesn’t launch into the part where you speak to someone at your door. So with the lag between the time the doorbell takes to contact the app, then trying to fiddle with the app the get to the menu to press “speak”, the visitor thinks your not home. It kind of defeats the purpose of having the doorbell.

Good when you are home but can’t connect remotely. Doesn’t really serve a purpose if I can’t connect remotely. Looks like it’s going back

We bought three for the office. None are working properly. Hard to tell if it is the device or the app. Most of the time it doesn’t connect at all. The few times it does connect it takes more than 15 seconds. By then the caller will have gone, specially delivery guys. I think these are going back to Aldi.

Set this up last night. Easy to do out of the box but the real issue is connectivity to the router. Slow and lagging event though the router was only 3 or so metres away. I thought this would be a great product as Aldi usually stocks good quality at a fair price but this is leaving me wanting to return it. If the connectivity could be fixed it looks promising as the visual feed when seen is pretty good.
