CodyCross: Crossword Puzzles

I purchased ad free for 30 days and I received ads again a little over two weeks later. Why would you take advantage of people like that? I was told to try “restore purchases” but the response from Codycross came long after the 30 days expired so no satisfaction there! Nice try there, really! lol! I did not delete the game. I really do like it. And I would gladly pay 99 cents a month (that was the offer I saw and took advantage of) to get rid of ads but it drops way short of the month. If the offer came up again and the 30 days was guaranteed I do it again.

Been playing for hrs - now when I go to play, ads for other games are covering the board so I can’t place letters. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

I have been playing this game for a long time. But it has gotten so boring. I live in the United States but rarely get clues pertaining to the US. Mostly items from Japan, China and India. Must be where the developers are from.

I really like the game but the ads are ridiculous and the price is too much. Deleting it.

Fun so far

Some of these clues in these puzzles make no sense. Some of them are completely wrong. There needs to be a better way of checking these puzzles before they are released. Some clues are just one word, what are you looking for as the answer? Please do better

Lots of ads…I play every few months because I hate the ads

To many ads

I only have a few games on my phone, but this is probably my favorite. Very cute characters and style with easy-to-use interface. You can tell there is a lot of love put into the game by whoever does the graphics. I also love how there are so many different themes. It adds another fun aspect to gameplay. Levels can be very challenging, making the game more engaging. The bonuses/tools/whatever don’t cost many coins at all, which is nice. It’s a rare example of a game that can be easily played for ages without having to spend any real money or watching tons of ads. There are still ads, but they are all very short and not annoyingly frequent. All of the levels, limited time events, and other features (such as the daily passcode and crossword puzzles) prevent this game from being dull. In fact, I am nearing a 140 day streak. I’ve even learned many words and fun facts from this game! Only complaint is some words and hints are overused, which becomes noticeable if you play every day. I know there isn’t much to fix that since there can only be so many words and hints to give for crossword games, but it can make it slightly boring for me at times. Other than that, I love this game and have had it for years.🤗

I am NOT going to watch two 20 second total ads (since they insist you need to press the “x” 3 separate times) to play ONE few minute puzzle. Come the **** on, guys. Your game was decent and an alright way to waste some time. Now it’s straight up garbage and unplayable unless you hate yourself. They even artificially inflate the load time to a ludicrous degree so they can force you to watch an ad every time you load the app. Scummy as can be. I will NOT be playing this again. I was on level 230+ too. Didn’t even hesitate to delete this app after what you’ve been doing to it. There’re better puzzles that actually respect the user and give adequate and not misleading hints. Do NOT waste your time on this game watching numerous ads to pad the execs’ wallets. Be smarter.
