Hi, I came to your store on the 26th July and purchased food. This was a time were the kitchen was not open for some reason (no signs saying this) Therefore the staff member said they would sort a REFUND. This REFUND was never provided. So much so I had to travel over an hour from Merthyr Tydfil to the Cardiff bay store, pay for parking and go into the store on the 9th June and request my refund which I was rightly owed. I provided them with my reciept and bank statement to show it has not been refunded. They said they will sort it out and will be in my account in three days. From the 9th June I am now over a week after returning to the shop and I still have no REFUND THIS IS DISGRACEFUL SERVICE! Quick enough to take money out of my account but when I request the money back you won’t payout. I wish for the money to be refunded into my account immediately. It has taken 3 weeks for this to go on an is a rather large sum of money i could use elsewhere. I attend the coffi shops regular but having had this service, I certainly won’t be returning I will take this further if not resolved in three days time. I will take this to social media, leave a trustpilot review and also contact trading standards and being contacting citizen advice. Not only I am out of pocket for the refund, I had to drive over 48 miles round trip to be told they can’t do it there and then.. and still a week on not received. So in total to return in the 9th due to not receiving the refund, I have spent 48 miles of fuel, parking ticket to park. So in all I am most certainly well out of pocket due to your wrong doing! I feel after having all these issues I should be refunded the entire amount! Given the lack of service I have received! Time spent chasing you and returning to the shop! See attached my bank payment, showing no refund, my travel time for the 9th, recipt of payment. (I have no reciept for parking £2, as I payed cash) I hope to hear from you asap and monies to be returned. Otherwise I will be seeking legal advice. Cheers
Took ages to order with lots of extra steps
I’ve been signed out of my account as I moved out of cardiff and deleted the app. Returning and meeting friends at our favourite spot, unable to sign in or reset password. Used the forgotten password link, no code is sent by email or phone and then it tells me I can’t create a new account as my phone number is in use on another account. No other way to order than via the app so sadly I won’t be returning.
Took longer to download app and set up than drink the coffee itself. Option for card simple card payment would help the customer who just wants a simple drink!
So many glitches and now locked out of account despite entering correct details. Also there appears to be no app support which is worrying as they hold my credit card details and I cannot close my account without it. I would avoid this coffee company as there are plenty of competitors who don’t need an app or who have one that works.
What happened to your old customer service? If you’ve got a poor signal this is a nightmare. I cannot stand places that have to order food, what next next robots.
Can’t pay as a guest. Poor internet in shop so app frustrating
The last time I was at Coffi co was when I had my old card and I didn’t realise, went through the order on the app recently and on the last step I saw my old card’s number, but couldn’t actually change it unless I abandoned the whole order and go all the way back. My point is, it’d be worth adding an option to pick a different method at the end of the order. I realise this is only a small problem and there are bigger ones in life, but in the moment it was annoying having to go through so many steps twice.
Quite possibly one of the worst UI’s I’ve ever experienced. Whoever made or continues to update this app needs their head looking at.
