As a RICS Building Surveyor with 7 years experience, I had only ever used a damp meter. Limiting the advice I could give my clients re condensation and dampness. I have been surveying properties throughout the north west of England for over 20 years, mainly domestic properties, over that period of time with the popularity of Upvc windows and doors as well as the use of central heating the internal environment has become excessively humid without mechanical ventilation, as a company we have had to use some complex equipment to get an understanding to what is happening until recently when I was recommended to give this App a trial, for £9.99 it was a no brainer (as they say). Well I didn’t need any coaching to see how to use as a child could use it , it’s that easy, I entered the figures as prompted and bang there was a clear result, straight away I could show the client clear and consider results, simple but effective with a “traffic light” chart Showing good to bad. For anyone who works in a role that encounters damp and mould, this app will help you collate the data you need to back up your findings when coupled with simple observations.
