It does everything to me! So special, it makes me learn new colors! Thus, how could ‘’color’’ be misspelt? Tell apple about why the word ‘’color’’ is misspelt, in real life, Its a word apple! Like, c’mon! Also you forgot a color that belongs in the maroon family, I mean colour, sorry. Please fix this and tell apple ‘’color’’ is a word, and is not a misspelt word,

Color name, could not detect a shade of brown after 20 minutes of trying it I tried to cancel my revers billing style subscription that relies on billing you if you don’t cancel. It appears the software makes the manage subscriptions tab to just spin . This is a scam app.

I scanned a hot pink sorta colour and it said it was orange, peach, black and blue

On select a photo it fonts skip to another. Then I close the apps but there’s still the same photo

The difficulty, as I see it, is that photos captured on the phone do not accurately represent the colour of the object being photographed. There is no standard illumination or fixed colour balance. AWB (auto white balance) messes up any attempts to record the colour. Even when I use my calibrated white balance reference card there are very few camera apps that have provision for calibrating the camera to the current lighting colour by using a white balance reference card. Without that calibrated white balance it is impossible to accurately record a colour. When I use the built-in colour reader in the app on my calibrated white balance card the app fails to recognize the neutral grey. Calling it grullo or some other warm grey. It identifies white as beige. So, there needs to be a calibrated light source as well, but what colour? 5000°K? 5500°K? And then, what will that colour look like in LED room light? Without that starting point none of the rest of the app makes any sense.

Highly inaccurate

seems as if it’s just saying things. it’s like it’s just generating a random colour and tells you that result. tested it with a very obviously black screen and it said that colour was called “bright pink”. then tested with all white, it gave “lime green”. tested it multiple times and none of the results were correct in any way.
