I’ve had the Compass Control app installed on my iPad Mini and have had nothing but problems. From the beginning the app loads extremely slowly (verified on several iPads). Once you are in the app you have to manually refresh each page in order to view any changes that you made on the control, i.e.. ON/OFF state. You need to exit the app in order to do things like instantiate a SONOS system as there is no support for integrating things like SONOS or popular alarm systems into Compass Control. I also have a Lutron system that I use several times a day to control lights, thermostats, etc.. While there is “integration” into the Lutron system it is painfully slow; often forcing you to wait 7 seconds between each button click which always results in lights going on or off as the syncing is off when you click too many times. The Compass Control has taken the enjoyment out of my automated home system to the point that we cringe every time we want to watch TV or a movie. For the price of the Compass Control module, this app should be at least 500% more capable and efficient. I am very disappointed in Compass Control and would not recommend it to anyone.
The first compass that iPods can use!!
I was shown an iPad app at CES by one of your reps. iPad app was bullet proof and amazing interface as far as look, feel, flexibility and ease of navigation. We are excited about Lutron bi-directional drivers
I hope this is not a sign of things to come. The automation market is highly competitive and demo crashes won't help against Control4 and Crestron. I'm sure you guys will work it out.
