Good app
The app is really good. However, every time I try to send my child a letter, I get to the send letter part and it cuts out and sends me to my Home Screen so I can’t send them any more letters.

On the app you can read inspiring stories from children who are overcoming poverty, be moved by the latest Compassion films and discover prayer requests and news from our work around the world.
From the ease of your phone, you can explore your relationship with your sponsored child. Write messages and send gifts when you’re out and about. Receive helpful birthday reminders and letter notifications straight to your phone.
The Compassion UK App gives you the option to receive helpful reminders about your sponsored child (e.g. their upcoming birthday) and about Compassion’s work (e.g. prayer requests and local events). You have full choice and control of receiving notifications about your sponsored child and/or Compassion’s work and can update these at any time.

What’s gone wrong?
Latest release for IOS and it seems to not work at all. Just the cover screen with no menus or anything. It wasn’t the easiest to use before with letters not showing or being updated on the app but now it’s completely gone. Hope it gets fixed but using the website is best for me
Writing a letter crashes
Love the new layout - however trying to write a birthday card or a short note from my phone (iOS 15.3.1) crashes the app!!! Donating via the app works fine but shame the app crashes when trying to send a letter - please fix thanks!
iPad
Seriously not able to use on an iPad yet. I think you should change this to enable it to be accessed by tablets
Great App
It’s so great that, at a touch of a button, you can access so much information about the child/ children you sponsor. Letters, project information, current weather and much more. I love it!

I love this app, it’s a great way to connect with Compassion’s sponsorship and love how you can write to your child, pray for them and get updates from Compassion directly.
Not for iPad
It’s great to have an app but it is puzzling as to why it is not configured for tablet devices like iPads given their prevalence. In its current state I’ll be using the website.
Brilliant app
Your version 2.7.0 crashes upon opening. I am unable to open the app to report this so I’m afraid it’s by review. Until this update the app has allowed me to write to my sponsored child and donate and navigate freely.
Update is crashing
The app is fab but the new update is closing as soon as it opens, please have a look at the error
