Such a good app for any visual learner, but lacks the ability to view a cross section of the brain which for this price I feel you should be able to do. Other than that it’s amazing and has definitely helped me.
this not a good app. always shuts down
It's a great app, and very helpful, but only having a male body is a significant limitation. Their Essential Anatomy, while it lacks many of the finer features of Complete Anatomy, has both male and female bodies.
Amazing
For anyone doing any health science degree or sports science this app is a must!!! I'm a current physiotherapy student and this app has helped so much! Thanks guys for bring this app to the table, it's a game changer.
If you want to see what's possible on an iPad (especially on the iPad Pro) take a look at 3D4Medical's Complete Anatomy. The free download is limited to the skeleton and connective-tissue view, but at higher resolution than their earlier Skeleton System Pro III app. In order to see all the body "layers" you will need to make the in-app purchase. This one-time purchase has replaced a monthly/annual subscription, and makes the full app far cheaper - once you've had it a year. The only downside is that you can no longer experience the full app without making the purchase. To see what's included you'll need to take a look at the video on the vendor's web site. This app is targeted at medical professionals (which I'm not) and students, so be prepared for body-part descriptions in doctor-speak. You'll still learn without understanding all the words. Content updates are regular, both as downloads from the App Store and within the app. Performance on an iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro is outstanding, and the animations are amazing. One caveat - if you are squeamish you should probably stick with the skeleton view! There's a lot of stuff inside our bodies, and Complete Anatomy displays it very well. But if you're a medical professional, or simply an interested lay-person, this is an must-have application. I've had a few medical issues recently and found it invaluable to understanding what was going on inside me. Highly recommended.
Crashes a lot if you click too fast. Doesn't handle recorded videos too well. No ability to export videos to camera roll. No manual control of joint mobility and muscle contraction. Overall I've pulled my subscription for now until I see a significant improvement.
I kept on waiting for it to load but just a bunch of words keep coming up and says error message are website and a bunch of more words and letters and numbers together
I aspire to become a PA-C and this app checks for most of the things I would need to have knowledge of. Also not to mention the extremely detailed and intricate anatomy, it is so helpful. This app deserves 5 stars.
