This app can calculate tip and total for a group two different ways:
1- Split a check evenly: Enter the number of people in your party and choose a tip percentage. The application will calculate the total tip amount, total to pay then split the check into portions equal to the number of people in your party.
2- Split an uneven check: Often people would rather pay for exactly what they ordered, and this is where the Cool Tip Calculator application really shines. Simply use the "Adjustments" feature, the application will then auto calculate the right amount of check total plus tip that each person needs to pay.

This was a great app but it appears to have been abandoned. It no longer functions and hasn’t been updated in 7 years.

No longer works on my iPhone. It says “The developer of this app needs to update it in order to work with this version of iOS.”

Exactly what I want - Tip App

My old Tip calculator died with iOS 11. This app is actually better. Nice, clear, easy interface. Must have feature - split bill unevenly. Down size - you have to tell the app to calculate rather than being dynamic. Small criticism.

Easy app

I looked at a lot of tip apps and most of the User interfaces annoyed me because they were (IMO) way too cutesy. I wanted a straightforward, practical app the calculated tip and split and this was the best I found. It's sleek and easy to use.

Hope there is an iPad version though

Great app for figuring out before tax tips! The app hasn't been updated often to test compatibility with newest iOS. It sometimes crashes in iOS 5.1.1

Super easy to use on iPhone, lots of variation in options... Highly recommended if you want to split tips!
