long to download
Downloaded from the Apple store and keep getting a message that the app can not connect to the server. No problem with network either. Have attempted to connect with an agent and been in a que to speak for the last 20 minutes. There is no help that I can find for Mac users. Will be contacting my bank to block the payment as this is totally ridiculous and a waste of my time.
good but too expensive for private use
Its a shame because it is very user friendly and real easy to learn, but it freezes and crashes almost daily if I spend too much time on it. Any suggestions maybe?
Corel Draw was a king back in 90s. I am not assaulting Coreldraw and i grew up with Corel Draw. Yes, we only use it on PC. We tried adobe when very 4 comes out but preferred Corel. Time has change and adobe is now taking over everything. Almost all professional need to use adobe. Now we have some option like affinity which is amazing application. Why 2 stars ? Well, Corel cannot support like what adobe and Affinity. What support ? One and only the very important basic support is training. There is no training at all. All training are rubbish. When you see Corel Youtube video, you will know what I mean. I mean even they cannot even record voice over properly for the training. When you compare Corel with Adobe or even Affinity, you will say “Ok I will go with Adobe or Affinity” I believe only people who are still using Corel Draw have knowledge how to use it. Otherwise Coreldraw is useless. I came from very basic since Adobe V4, Corel. I am still not a professional but whenever I open Adobe, doesn’t matter which version, I feel like I kinda know things how to do. I must admit I have left Coreldraw when I switched to Mac. After seeing Coreldraw on Mac version I was very happy but when I open no idea where to start and not even a clue how to do. Corel need a lot of training on Youtube like adobe/affinity. Need tons of training. Seems like Corel is focusing only to professional and focusing more on PC but not care much about Mac yet. The application is not smooth and very laggy even on my iMac 2020 core i9 10 Core 128GB Memory with 16GB AMD Radeon Pro 5700XT. I don’t know what kind of system I need to use smoothly. Takes sometime to open and closing. Funny part is I do have Corel Painter 2021 too. It has system rating by optimising the app. Out of 100 my system get only 36 with yellow warning :D. Cannot believe it. This is my point to let you guy know Corel is not meant to use on Mac. Something I do not understand is price point. People argue about Adobe Suite price which is roughly about £600 a year and Corel is just £550 one off. But for me I will go with Adobe with this price. Still higher but adobe offer 50% 40% 35% time to time. When you pay £500 you will only one application which will need tons of update to work smoothly on Mac. No one wants application for their whole life without update. I am not taking about upgrade version but in this case when you buy 20201 suite , you will need to die with it. But on other hand, adobe price is for
Can't Wait to purchase a Mac computer
Costs far too much compared to simlar software.
This is more expensive than adobe illustrator the industry standard. Not even a cut down free version? How are they going to compete with adobe and other companies with a strategy like that?
For what is an Okay-ish app they want £40 PER MONTH for it, so if you use it for 5 years that means you have paid £2400 for ONE simple app. What a total RIP-OFF!!!! when previously you could have bought the app outright for a few hundred quid. this subscription model is outright theivery tactics and a totel hinderment to the creative process when many artists and young creatives are struggling to survive your putting software out there which makes their life harder to cope with. Sort it out ya money grabbing crapitali$t$!!!!!
