Cosmos: Curated Inspiration

I am in love with the service provided, I think it’s genius and I’m thinking about implementing this in my work showcase because it’s such a beautiful space. I would consider subscribing if the app was stable enough. Widgets get completely blank with iOS 18 when you tint the icons, the images in the clusters flicker a lot and sometimes it doesn’t allow me to open the cluster. I had to make many attempts to upload something from the app itself, either elements or my profile picture, it wouldn’t let me select my photo albums (showing none) or straight up not showing the UI for that section. I hope you can keep improving because I really want to use this app daily! Update: please PLEASE make an iPad native app, that’s what creatives use all the time.

The app is perfect for inspiration, as u scroll It looks like u are seeing pictures from an art gallery. Really pretty

The curation of the feed and general feel of the app are amazing, however 500 elements are very few and, once used up, there is no more incentive to use the app.

After months of waiting, I started using Cosmos a few days ago and I must admit that it is an application with a lot of potential. Unlike Pinterest (to which Cosmos wants to offer itself as an alternative) the interface is great, the images are well selected, they are much more of an "artistic" imprint, more interesting, but there are few of them. Here is a practical example. As a designer, I tried searching for "Fonderia Nebiolo," an important Italian type foundry, and while Pinterest offered me hundreds of relevant images, on Cosmos there was not a single hit. The starting point is good, but there is still a long way to go, and as long as the image archive is so small, it will be hard to prefer Cosmos to Pinterest.

but over all nice app cute, you can even make a lil mini website out of it, just need fun people to post fun stuff like on pinterest, im being one of them for now

i like that the app has sources for its images and i hope they can find the info for all of them. one thing i would also love to see that's preventing me from fully switching over is cluster widgets, since the only widget option right now is random featured posts.

App seems to always forget your password, then has freezes or doesn’t load when you try to reset then it will randomly not load anything. I restarted the app my phone and redownloaded it

I am so glad I came across this app. It gives me a dopamine boost everytime I open it. It reminds me of tumblr in the ‘good ol days’ before it was ruined. I’m obsessed with the feed and the simplicity of it (no ads). The only thing I wish would be implemented again was the recommended titles for your clusters. What happened to that? How can I get that back? I enjoyed that aspect of it a lot. Other than that, great work, its perfect.
