To Customer Service
We were out of service from July 31 to Aug 14 due to a downed cable line and power line. We resumed power to the house on Aug 5. Called Cox on the 5th to schedule time to get line fixed. They were to be out on 8/6 to fix. No show. Each day I messaged or talked to an agent to verify that tech would be out to our house the next day and every day they told me it was rescheduled for another day or two. But no one could tell me why. This went on from 8/6 to 8/14 and each time I called they tried to sell me new services or upgrades all during the time they could not fix my current issue. If someone would have told us upfront on Aug 6 it may be 1-2 weeks waiting period and why, that would have been more acceptable then cancelling our appointment everyday without telling us and moving it to another date and never showing up or getting a call. Even today when they came out we never got a call they were coming. Was very disappointed in how we were treated as a long time customer of Cox.
