Cupla: Couples Shared Calendar

The synced calendar between two people is definitely the biggest reason to have this app. But the functionality of the calendar is still somewhat lacking. The color coding system is such that you have your color, your partner's color, and a shared color. But that's as far as it goes. Calendars for work tasks, doctors office visits, etc. are all the same color as the person whose calendar it belongs to. And turning an event into a shared event doesn't appear to be possible by simply adding a new item in your native calendar app. So if you create an event and want it converted to a shared color that involves you both, you'll have to go into Cupla and take care of it. The notifications to schedule a date are nice, till their not. When they're suddenly this active reminder that according to its metrics, you aren't going on nearly enough dates. Beyond that, it's fine. I appreciate what it does well, and like I said in the title, it's the best app for it. But that was not a particularly high bar. It's especially useful for a couple with an iPhone and android user. I do wish it had a chat function or note function to add to the calendar events though.

Impossible to edit, crazy aggressive about subscriptions and access to other calendars and contact lists.

I was surprised that the app for MacOs is nothing more than a TINY screen duplicate of the phone screen - its pretty much useless to me as I am working on a 32” monitor the app is 2 x 4” and I cannot even see it LOL The app designer **REALLY** needs to make this more functional if they want people to be able to use it on computers. I will stick to Google Calendar for now..

Downloaded the app so I could share a work calendar with my parented while he was away for work and got through registration only to find out that you have tn pay to see the other persons calendar. Not very cool for those who are on a budget and can’t afford to add another subscription to their list.

I would really appreciate more customization, including colors and the app icon! One of the biggest issues is that the colors kind of overlap weirdly, and so it would be really nice if we could choose our own.

Great app, but literally my only qualm is that they have a Martin Luther King Jr. quote on the notification page which just feels in poor taste since, you know, it was well know he had affairs in his marriage. And this is an app mainly for Significant others trying to keep their schedules organized and all…😅

My husband and I are doing so much better with living our blended lives together. Juggling four kiddos ranging from the ages of 21-9, life is chaotic!!! Plus, Cupla is amazing for remind us how important to have Date Nights! Love this app, highly recommended!
