While I love some of the features, the main thing that made me want to buy 2 lights for my reef tank was the advertised feature of being able to have sound accompany the weather feature. This doesn’t exist. I was told from a representative of Current that the sounds could be played through any Bluetooth device. However, there is zero capability on the app for sound. Also, I bought 2 lights because I was told that having 2 would boost my light to the correct PAR for SPS. My SPS are struggling. As far as the app - it is user friendly and clean but if my phone is upstairs the programming on the lights doesn’t work. The Bluetooth doesn’t turn on until I’m near the lights. That means, all programmed settings are now manual. Unless I leave my phone at home during the day and next to my tank. With a little more work on the app and a little better LED’s this brand of lights could be amazin.

Very disappointed with this system for one reason, and it’s a big one. The light program features simply don’t work, they don’t stay on schedule, they just kinda screw me over honestly. Kinda wish I would have looked into other lights more. The lightning is cool, but not too useful when the program settings are a joke.

Didn’t think it could have gotten any worse but it did. Lost the sound, wave makers stopped working etc. for as much as you pay for this set up there shouldn’t be stupid problems like this. Extremely piss poor

I bought the Orbit Marine IC LED Light Fixture for my tank and it only comes with the Loop controller. The app lets you set the program for your life but it doesn’t work. I set it to turn off at 8:00PM but when I look at the tank after 8:00PM it’s still on and on day mode. I have tried many different ways but so far the program does not work. So far I have to manually go into the app and turn the light off and on everyday and since it’s only Bluetooth I have to be right there to do it. This is useless if I go out of town.

I have the current set up and had the speakers connected for the wave sounds. But now the volume slider disappeared and no sound. What happened? If the sound wouldn’t had disappeared I would’ve gave it a five star.

The app now connects to the controller and appears to be working. Let’s see if it lasts.

Next time, let’s not wait months to fix the issue. Think about rolling back the update next time.
