Good Memory Aid for those with head injury
28 years ago I had a severe head injury that severely effects short term memory, and moderately effects speech and long term memory. This program allows me to keep daily track of what I have done during the day without all the steps of setting up each accomplishment in a calendar program. I can set up future reminders as well. I operate a farm and an animal pellet feed operation. I can keep track of the sheep, chickens, rabbitry honey bees and pellet feed operation with all the feeding schedules and maintenance, fuel and usage for the heavy machinery. Without this program I literally (correct use of the word) would forget what I have done during the day and forget critical maintenance for the farm and business. I would be unable to keep track of customer orders. There are improvements that could be made as far as reminders and planning and grouping of similar activities but it would be unrealistic to think that special programming should be done for such a specific need as mine (though there are now tens of millions of elderly, ex-military and those who have had industrial or medical accidents who could benefit from such improvements. I will watch to see if such improvements are made and up the rating if I see them…and yes, this note will be copied in my schedule and notes to remind me to check every so often…otherwise I would forget within the hour.
