I would easily change this to a 5 star if the issue is fixed. I am loving the app very much. However, I purchased the app to have no ads and I am still seeing ads. Please fix this.

Great content, nice presentation. It would better if it would play while screen turns off.

When I was 18, I spent the summer away from home selling books door-to-door. One of the ladies I roomed with or was a Christian, and she invited me to have devotions with her each morning. The book she used was Daily Light. The Lord used that book and those messages to introduce and draw me to himself. I recall (in retrospect), that the Lord seemed to preface each reading with “Dear Linda” and end it with “Love, God”. I especially appreciate that these are the words of God, not a “devotion“ filled with “wonderful thoughts“ from another Christian. Since I cut my teeth on scripture in morning devotions, I have never appreciated other devotionals, though they may be very inspiring, because the word of God is always so very powerful. it is my prayer that many will use and experience, Daily Light or its twin, Living Light.

This not the devotional that was by S Bagster! It was advertised as such.

I used to love the book, and now I love the app. Each morning and evening there’s a short readable selection of Bible verses about a certain subject. No commentary - the verses speak for themselves. Wonderfully encouraging topics from God.

Need to provide additional choices of versions Navigation back and forth cumbersome Thorough and challenging scripture

I have been using this app for years. It is an excellent resource for starting your day and meditation on the closeness of God. The only problem is the recent daily changes now have fewer actual bible verses.

It starts my day with wonder, joy, and awe for the Father. The prayers reach deep into my heart.

My husband and I read these devotions together each morning and pray. Having the Spurgeon writings added in is a real bonus too. Definitely the best use of our time.
